A VACUOLE IS IN A CELL, IT TAKES IN FOOD AND LIGHT AND STUFF. -
A vacuole is a storage system for waste and nutrients of sorts within eukaryotic cells.

Sg simpler way to say that is it stores water in a plant cell perfect example :P

Plant Cell- The vacuole is bigger than the one in the Animal Cell so it can take in more light.
Animal Cell- Smaller than the Plant cell vacuole, it takes in food particals
