"Edward...?", I said quickly grabbing his shoulders before he fell, "Are you alright?"

Nera walked over."hes fine the meds are kicking in." She picked up some fire wood and placed it in the middle. she sent a fire ball at the wood. ed slept peacefully.

I sat next to Ed as he slept, constantly checking his bandages, replacing them even when they were clean, I guess I was just to scared he'd die out on me, and even though we sat close to the fire, that vast coldness built inside my chest grew

Nera looked at her."its cold iside you isnt it?"Nera had a sad look. she knew the feeling of the fire being gone. Edward moved a bit in his sleep.

"Its horrible..I feel empty, something is missing", I sighed sadly, "Its so cold", I slowly moved closer to Edward, I held his hand tightly in mine.

Nera sighed."Its hard to get used to but....it will go away." She smiled."Youre a lucky gal. Ed doesnt fall or anyone." Ed wrapped his arms around her waist in his sleep.

"I hope..", I blushed and lay down next to him, I smiled and laughed softly, "He must be mad to fall for me and no one else"

Nera laughed."Do you know how many angel girls would kill to have his attention?" nera looked at the ground."He wasnt always mean back then..." Edward muttered something in his sleep.

"Mean...?I can honestly say I've never seen his mean side before. What was he like before?", I leaned in closer to him to understand what he was mumbling

Nera sighed."He had no happiness in his eyes. He was always so cold. when he was around me for a bit he would smile occationally." She twitched."Then he had to kill my brother...his friend. then he got angry at the council." Edward held Layla tightly."Dont touch her..."

I looked at her sadly, and instantly wanted to hug her, "I'm so sorry..why did he have to kill him?", I smiled and placed a kiss on his forehead, "Shh..", I blushed, he's so protective of me.

She looked away."He was a shell of a demon....He had no powers...."She tightened her fist."Our mother sent the angels to kill him. Edward and I were the ones to do it."Her eyes flashed yellow. Edward smiled in his sleep. Nera looked over at them both. "He seems very protective over you."

I shook my head, "That's horrible of her, I'm so sorry", I kissed his nose and smiled, "I told you, he must be mad to love me"

She looked at the ground."I hate her." the flames on the fire spiked. Edwards eyes opened up a bit.

My eyes widened at the fire growing, sometimes I almost wanted to leap into it, but I knew I'd have burned, "I don't know anything about her...all my life I never knew her. I guess I was sorta abbandoned, by her, causr all I knew was the island", I smiled and Edward, "Shh..sleep.."
