I threw the knife away, I won't do it, I never will, I pushed his shoulders down gently, making him lie down with his head in my lap, "Shh..just stay with me..please Edward, I love you, so so much"

He smiled at her."I won't leave you...I love you too Layla..." He knew he didn't want to leave her... He had to stay alive now.

I trailed my fingers along the features of his face, tears rolled down my cheeks, "Stay Edward, don't leave me, promise me you'll stay"

"I promise."Edward heard the door open and he loked over and saw Gabriel. Gabruiel had a perminate scowl on his face."Edward. get out of here, bring the girl with you. be quick about it or Ill change my mind."Edward blinked.

I stiffened as I saw someone else enter the room, he asked Edward to get up even though he was on the verge of death? I scowled, but what did he mean by 'change my mind'?

Edward looked and it wasnt gabriel."Nera...?" Gabriel smiled and changed into a sort girl withlong blnd hair and blue eyes."of course its me you idiot now get up befor he wakes up!" Nera walked over and helped him up. Edward winced.

I quickly picked up the knife and placed it in my pocket before anyone noticed, but then I saw something...blood on my hands? I blinked and it was gone, hallucinations? I shook my head and mumbled softly to myself as I stood up, "Maddness will be the death of me"

"Hurry up!"Nera huffed and she dragged Edward. he didnt move much. She led them through the ship and got to the top deck. "okay there is a row boat over there." she pointed and dragged Edward. she put him in."Get in girl!"

Now I guess after meeting that demon, I've been feeling a bit short tempered, also after being locked in a cellar, watching Edward almost die, be taunted to kill him and now be bossed around by some chick, well after all this you can't blame me for being short tempered, so I crossed my arms and shook my head, "No"

I scowled, and suprisingly, I didn't fear her at all, "Its not like it'll matter, either way you people are going to find away to get rid of me, so it doesn't really matter, does it?",

Nera's fangs grew and her eyes changed to a lizard like."Knife give it to me now Girl." Edward tried to sit up but he couldnt.

Then I heard, a voice in my head, a little whisper that said, "The demon in you has grown strong young one, what a pleasant suprise", I didn't really comprehend what that meant but in a way I sorta did, "Why should I? Need to use a knife to kill me? Hmm...hands to weak to strangle?", and as I tilted my head to the side and smiled an innocent smile, unknowingly my eyes had darkened but had a fire like glow inside them, but I felt something, dark, fierce and mysterious grow inside me. It was almost like a fire, and I won't deny it cause I loved the feeling of this spark within me

Nera glared."Nice mother has poisined you." She cut the rope holding the boat edward was in. the boat it the water."I dont want him in this."She pulled out a black sword.

I blinked, "Mother? What mother?", but as I pulled the dagger out it had extended and turned into a sword with a blood red handle, I watched the boat with Edward slowly float away, ofcoarse this chick had one adavantage over me. She's immortal. And I'm human.
