Nera beared her teeth."That voice in youre head. its her isnt it!"The sword seperated and created another.She looked back and saw Edward float over near the island shore.

I thought about the woman I had met, when I remember her appearance, I realized how much I looked like her, except she had a feline look and was elagant..wait, my mum is a demon? So that means I'm a demon? Bloody hell..."I don't know, you tell me!", I said mockingly, and my eyes changed again, glowing fiercely as if a fire lived within them. So I was changing into a demon, right now? I can't say it wasn't cool, the scary thing is that I'm actually liking it...but being a demon, does that make me Edwards enemy?

"You idiot dont fall into her trap! What about Edward! He would be heartbroke!"She charged at the girl."Think about him, all that time you shared with him, How much he cares about you! Hes on the brink of death and he almost sacrificed his life for yours!!!!"

"But I'm still me..I'm not bad! It won't change anything, I'm still Layla, I-", but then I stopped in mid-sentence, why was I fighting this girl? She was trying to free us, I shook my head and my eyes cooled to their usual dark blue, the fire was gone but without it I felt strangely cold, almost empty without, I placed the sword into a sheath and looked around me, the world seemed to grow dim, was this how it always looked?

Nera placed her hand on Laylas shoulder."Youll get usued to how the world looks..."Black bat wings shot out of her back."Come on Edward needs us both."

I nodded my head silently, it was all so cold when the fire was gone, until I looked behind I was unaware of it but now when I glanced behind I saw them, black feathery wings were growing out my back, and on the tips of the wings, blue and violet flames danced along the edges. Those were mine?

Nera smiled."Youll get used to those too." she flapped her wings and helped Layla into the sky."Lets hope we are not to late." meanwhile edward and crawled out of the boat and layed on the sand.

"T-their mine?", I asked, I was still going through shock after all of this, I liked flying it felt nice to be so high up, soon we had landed on the shore, the sand between my feet and the water licking at my toes all reminded me of home. But then I saw him there. Edward. Lying on the sand.

"they are yours."Nera saw Edward and ran to him. She checked his pulse."Hes fine just needs bandaged up." She went to the boat."watch him."

I quickly made my way to Edward, my hand wrapped around his, all the blood...he was hurt so badly. I kissed his forehead, "Your gonna be okay", my wings spread out around the both of us protectively.

Nera came back with a med kit."here I think youre betterat med stuff than I am." Edward breathed softly. the wound on this arm had gotten much worse.

"Stay with me", I said softly to him and gave his hand a little squeeze, I looked inside the med kit and my eyes widened, not the kind of medicines I'm used to, "Bloody hell.." But I could tell what was for what, I dabbed something on his arm to clean the wound, then I gently wrapped the banddage all around his arm and secured it tightly.

Nera watched carefully and pulled a vial out of her coat."here give this to him"

I took the vial and placed it against his lips, I tilted it up and let the liquid flow into his mouth

Nera watched them. Edward woke up slowly. he blinked and saw wings on Layla."Layla?"
