I shivered. "I don't have q choice about it, do I? Well, I won't. My DNA will.. reject it, or something. As cool as superpowers sound, I won't do that." I stood up and bolted for the door again.

I sighed. "Listen kid. I'm telling you this for a reason. Sit back down so I can finish."

"Alright. Sit back down Skyler. Let me finish." I restrained from using mindcontrol. I needed her to trust me.

I shook my head. "Talk all you like, but I'm staying put."

I frowned. "I don't want to be here anymore. I'm leaving. But I need your help."

"What could I do?" I don't trust him. He, the one who attacked me and tortured me?

"You...can be the back up plan. I don't feel like explaining. Sleep. We'll talk in the morning." I walk out, shutting and locking the door behind me.
