I snorted softly at the sign and followed him.

We reached a tunnel, like a mining tunnel, and I handed her one of the bags. "Its safe to talk now."

I took it. "Alright. Where are we going?"

"We, my dear, are headed for Kentucky. " I smiled in the darkness.

"Why?"

"It has something we need."

"Don't be so vague." I said.

"What's his name? Or is it a she?" I asked, my voice echoing in the tunnel.

I jerked away, eyes wide. "Don't touch me! You said you wanted help, don't go around slamming me into walls." I growled.

"I hadn't noticed." I said dryly, frightened a bit. I crossed my arms and focused on walking.

"It's fine." I muttered, glancing up at him.

"Are you okay? You aren't grumpy for q change."

"Alright. What's in the packs?" I sat and crossed my legs, leaning against the wall.

Bumpy.

"Food. Cloths for you and me. Blankets. Stuff."
