It took her about an hour to drag him back to her camp.
(Yay for one-hour time skips. xP) -
(Hooray for distorting space and time to flash to when I wake up, ten minutes later)
I cough and slowly open my eyes. -
(They're wonderful things.)
She looked over at him. She was sitting in the trunk of the car, reading a book she'd taken and left in there. "Welcome back. You're heavy." -
"Where... Where am I?" I ask, looking around.

"I dragged you back to my camp here in town, because I didn't know how long you'd be out and if we happened to be there until dark, it would've been harder to get back." She set down the book and lifted the grenade launcher she'd taken from him. "What is this?"

"M79 gernade launcher, fourty millimeter, one shot, break action" I say, somehow ingrained into my mind.

She nodded. "Hmmmm... Hey, when are you going back?"
(Can I ask you a question?) -
"I dont know," I say, sitting up.
(Shoot) -
"Because when you do, can you tell them that I'm not going back, no matter what. I have nothing to do with their world, please?" She set down the grenade launcher.
(Do I seem possessive at all, or controlling?) -
(Not really)
"If I decide to go back" I say, still sitting. -
(Okay. Thanks.)
"If? No, you're going back." She picked it up again and tossed it to him. -
"Why? Im not going to do your bidding. Tell em yourself," I catch it and stand.

"Ha. What do you expect you can do out here anyway, then? You're fresh out of the Dome. Training or not, you're not at all acquainted with the real world... Can people in the Dome feel pain?" The thought had never occurred to her.

"I dont know," I say, then I look at her. "You were like me once, too. New and everything"

"Yeah, when I was a baby. Whatever they do in there to make everyone the same didn't work on me. That's why I'm out here, and that's why they sent you after me." What she said next was merely an angry mutter. "They just want to annihilate their little emotions freak before she causes some insane problem."
