But if he hadn't seen her yet... she looked at the other trees, looking for a stable branch within her reach.

I then sling my rifle and draw the M79. "Last chance!" I call out, "before I drop every tree within a mile!"
-
She didn't know exactly what he meant, but for someone who had never felt any emotion, he was pretty good at being scary. She slipped from her tree and walked toward him, hiding herself behind yet another tree when he was about five yards away. "W-what do you want?"
-
"Are you from the Dome?" I call out. My gernade launcher was already on target, but I held it at my hip.
-
"Technically," she whispered, staring at him with wide eyes.
-
"I have to take you back." I say, somewhat sadly.
-
"No." Her eyes narrowed, and she glared at him.
-
"Im sorry, but you have two choices: Come with me, or you die" I glare back, and say threateningly.
-
Her eyes widened, and she stepped out from behind the tree. "It's affecting you already, but you aren't curled up crying... What did they give you?"
-
"What do you mean?" I ask, lowering my weapon a bit.
-
"You... You glared back." She made a quick glare, just as an example. "They had to have given you something... some sort of injection or pill. Otherwise you'd be miserable right now."
-
"I... I dont know," I say, "all I know is that I have to take you back," but I dont say it with much conviction.
-
"I'm not going back. Please don't make me." She frowned, and dropped the knife.
-
"I... I... Have to..." I whispered. Then I slung my M79 over my shoulder. I looked at her, mentally beginning to break down.
-
She smiled a bit. There had been two or three before him. She crossed her arms, then began circling him. "You know, they've sent others, but you've lasted the longest mentally so far... You're doing pretty well, actually."
