She nodded, acting like she understood. She didn't know anything about cars. She hadn't even known the complete purpose of the machine until about a year of leaving the Dome. -
I took off my vest and searched through the many pockets until I found some tape.

She watched him, wondering why he had all of that stuff on him.

I found a roll and ducked inside, I had to roll up my sleeves a bit more, maybe I should just cut the sleeves off...

It was impressive that he understood what was going on.

I tape the wires together, and the engine roared back to life. I turned the motor off and climbed out, my arms and face dirty.

She looked up at him, smiling. She laughed a little when she saw his dirty face.

I gave her a strange look, "hmm?"

"Oh, nothing... you just look pretty funny right now." The laughter continued.

I smiled helplessly and subconsciencly rubbed my face.

"You got most of it... here." She reached up and wiped the last little bit off.

"Thanks," I said, smiling.
