"I don't sleep much," I replied, not looking at him. I stared out the window, not really focusing on anything.

"Ok.But warning ya,tomorrow's not gonna be the easiest day of your life."

"Like today was easy?" I said, a little more harshly than I meant to. I turned to face the man, glaring at him.

Lucian stared at her blankly.This wasn't going as planned,things were getting complicated.He was gonna kill them all and easily get back home but now...he was definitely reported to the police and now he was with his daughter,probably going to use her as hostage.lucianess meant to say something mean,but he just could not.So he kept staring at her.

I rolled my eyes and looked back towards the window. "I don't need to sleep. I'll be fine. ...like you care."

The words came out of his mouth spontaneously.Damn,he shouldn't have said that. -
I rolled my eyes, not looking at him. "Bull s---."

"Look,tomorrow the police will be coming after me.We have to leave while it's dark so that we reach the airport before they find me.You'll come with me to airport and after I boarded the plane,you're free."
Lucian paused for a while,
"Now,if you don't wanna sleep,let's get going.We have no time to lose." -
"Fine. I just want this day to be over."
