"Got it." I pulled into the hotel parking lot, turned off the car, and got out, shoving the keys into my pocket. Then I remembered my dad being shot. I looked at the man, "Oh, s---. There's blood on me."

"Oh damn.Take my jacket for now.I'm gonna talk to the receptionist,you just stand behind me."
Lucian stepped into the hotel and headed toward the half-asleep man at the reception desk. -
I nodded and took the jacket, then followed the man into the hotel.

Lucian easily got the key.The fact that he was half asleep was very helpful to make him not suspect them.
"This way."
Lucian headed upstairs. -

I followed the man up the stairs, watching him carefully. I stayed silent so I wouldn't upset him. -
Finally they got to the room on 5th floor.Since it was high enough for the girl not to jump down from window,he could let her have a moment alone in the room.
"Go change.I'll be waiting here."
He handed the key to her. -
I nodded and took the key. Luckily, only my hoodie had gotten blood on it. My tank top was fine. I was fine, too, until I got the chance to remember why there was blood on my hoodie. Before I could think about not crying, I felt tears running down my face.

Lucian patiently waited outside the room thinking about what he was gonna do next.Cops would probably come looking for him tomorrow,so he had to get out of city at the first chance in the morning.

I took off my hoodie and threw it on the floor. It was my favorite hoodie. Not anymore. The man had ruined it. He ruined my house. I could never go back there after seeing my dad get shot there. He ruined everything. Somehow I managed to stop crying, but my eyes were still puffy from doing so. I opened the door to let the man in, then turned and walked towards the window. I stood in front of it, just staring outside.

Lucian walked into the room and closed the door behind.
"You should have some sleep.Tomorrow morning we're leaving."
