I paused. "On second thought... I really should sleep. If that's alright." -
"No,it's okay."

"Alright." I walked over to the bed and laid down. I was dreading sleep - I'd almost definitely have nightmares. That's why I didn't like sleeping.

His sleeping schedule has been pretty messed during the past few weeks,switching day and night.

"By the way..." I said, looking at the man, "I hate you." I closed my eyes, not waiting to see his reaction.

Lucian glanced at the girl,but ignored what she said.
"I have my own reasons for what I do." -
"Yeah? And what are your reasons?" I opened my eyes. I wanted to see if his reasons seemed good enough.

"13 years ago,my father died,gunshot.He was just a normal carpenter.The person who shot him was a cop."
Lucian took a deep breath and continued.
"When my mother was told about this,she was so shocked that she had a heart attack.A month later,she died too."
Lucian paused for some moments,tears were forming in his eyes but hell he wasn't gonna let that happen.
"I was only 5 back then.When I grew up,I realized that the cop didn't even get any punishment.He had killed my father and literally my mother,but it was like nothing had happened to him.He was living happy with his family,and it just hurt me.So that was the start of my grudge."
