First, don't let her crying effect you and at the same time, don't be harsh. Try to calm her down and talk to her- woah wait now I'm confused *.*

This is a strange situation isn't it?

Is this caused by a guy?

    Sort of.

I think she's depressed because of her ex, and she wants to get together with this guy in the "goth group" as I am now dubbing it.

I don't want her to be goth. Its not her. She is TRYING to be goth, its not her.

I can be serious if I want to be :p
Well I used to be like that... I was just having issues... I read that and I immediately think "Me" that used to be me.
I felt like no one cared about me. That my friends didn't care if I cut myself... That no one cared about me. So I started hanging out with those type of people you talked about... Nothing wrong with me... But still I did look up to those people like THEY were the ones that cared about me. Not my actual friends who did care.
All I wanted was to know one of my actual friends cared about me. They did, but I was to blind to realize it.
Soon, my friends started to notice like you have. Even though I would cry at times, it was because I had issues out of school.
They made me feel better. They were all there trying to make me laugh, asking what was wrong.
They didn't go head on though like "What's wrong?" They made me laugh, we hugged.
Last week, I felt that way in the morning, I don't know why. I felt like my best friend was ignoring me, and I took it too seriously. I cut my leg with scissors. He looked at me with a look i'll never forget, I told him since he didn't care, I could do whatever the f--- I wanted to do. He looked at me, and said "I do fuking care about you, I want whatever the best is for you, stop this s---."
It had to have been one of the best things ever said to me, even though it made me feel sad.

AND.. I went overdose on that. What i'm trying to say is that she might feel like her actual friends aren't there for her. Make her feel better, like you appreciate her

    :)

UGH AND DIDN'T READ IT CAREFULLY. If it was the guy then... I don't know what to say.

Its not ALL about a boy.

@Skyler Well if it's what she's into, I don't care. I mean you guys think my Vocaloid and Sonic the Hedgehog obsession is weird.

If she's just doing it to make the guy notice her, then by god it's not working and if its not her, she needs to stop.

Its not her. She is TRYING to be like that. It doesn't come naturally, she is trying to impress Zach.

Why? Because she sees all the goth girls getting attention from him! We should have never told her that he likes scene girls...

I know that, I've gone through that stage. The only thing you can really do is be there for her, make time for her when she wants to talk. If you don't? It'll make things 10x worse. Be willing to talk to her, and make sure you tell her how much she means to you.
Even if it's seeming like she's blowing you off at first, you can't know how much it'll mean, if you really are her best friend, unless you've been there.
