Do You Really Love Jesus

This is a quiz to teach you more about God and redemption. It will show you some obvious answers to whether or not you truly love God. God does really want to be known by you, and wants you to become one of his children.

Proverbs 3:5 tells us some very deep theology that a lot of people don't believe. So many poeple think that they have to try hard enough for God to love them, but really we have to "Trust the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding."

  1. Do you believe that Jesus died because you are sinful and need redemption, and that that was the only way?
  2. Do you agree with the statement "I was born a sinner, I will die a sinner, I need Christ."
  3. Do you believe that there is nothing you can do to earn redemption, but that it is only by God's charity (or grace) that you are saved?
  4. Did you know that redemption is a gift, and God loves you whether you work hard enough or not, and all you have to do is believe that he died to save you?
  5. Jesus died because he loves his people. If you believe that everything the bible says is true, and rely on his saving grace because you are a sinner and need him, and accept that there is nothing you can do to save yourself, he will save you.
  6. Lots of people believe that they are "good people". If someone told you that you are a sinner, would you believe them?
  7. Do you believe that the only reason you were created is because God wanted to create you, so that he could be glorified?
  8. God created this world because he wanted to. He is all powerful, all holy. You would not be alive if it were not for him. Do you believe this?
  9. If he saves us, and without him we would all go to hell, because without him we wouldn't be given salvation anyway, shouldn't we be grateful he lets anyone live anyway?
  10. The reason he created us is because he wanted to. He gives us blessings because he loves us. He does a lot of things that we can't understand, but it is all for a greater purpose. If you love him and do what he commands, everything he does will be for a good reason for you. Do you believe this?
  11. Believe that Jesus died for his people because he loved them, believe that there is NOTHING that you can do to save yourself and repent for your sins. Apologize when you sin, pray for forgiveness and he will forgive.
