  1. I feel that mainstream media is too alarmist about the climate crisis.
  2. I blame billionaires and oil oligarchs for environmental collapse
  3. Technology will progress enough in the future to fix the environmental damage that we are causing now
  4. It's too late to do anything about environmental collapse so we might as well not have children, enjoy life and go out with a bang.
  5. I give money to environmental groups and I'm keeping myself informed about sustainability. I don't have time or energy for more right now.
  6. I think I'll be dead before the effects of ecological collapse directly affect me.
  7. The real problem is countries like China and India that want to expand their economies at any cost
  8. I compensate my environmental damage by doing environmental good (for instance, I can stop eating meat and keep flying)
  9. Species come and go, human extinction is just part of the natural cycle of life.
  10. It's better if I work my way up to a position of power and wealth within the system so I can change things later rather than trying to challenge the system from the outside now.
  11. My own possibilities for action are so limited, and my impact so small that it's a drop in the ocean. Why bother act at all?
  12. If everyone did their bit, stopped flying, stopped driving, stopped eating meat, then we would go a long way to solving the problem.
  13. There are too many people on the planet, people who have more than 2 children are selfish.
  14. I don't think that ecological collapse will affect Western Europe much
  15. I spend a lot of time informing myself about sustainability issues, but it's too emotionally difficult to feel what that would mean for me concretely, personally
