Here’s some info about yourself. You are Brightkit, a flame-colored she-cat with bright blue eyes. Your mother is Sparkheart and your father is Oakstar., the leader of FlameClan. You have 2 sisters: Dovekit(white she-cat with blue eyes) and Honeykit(golden tortoiseshell with green eyes).

  1. The first things you saw was a huge ball of fur. It was a beautiful gold and you hoped you had her fur color. “Hello, kit! I’m Sparkheart, your mother. You will be named Brightkit, in honor of a famous leader, Brightstar, and because of your bright flame-colored pelt and your bright blue eyes. Your sisters are waiting for you outside the nursery! Make sure you don’t go outside camp!” You excitedly run out of the nursery.
  2. As you run, you bump into a kit. He was surrounded by 3 other she-kits, who were all swooning at the sight of him. He ignores them and walks up to you. “Hello Brightkit, I’m Sparrowkit.” He was a dark brown tabby with blue eyes, You could tell his ancestor was Tigerstar. “I’m Reedwhisker’s son. But he’s dead, and I’m being raised by Swifttail, his mate.
  3. Just then, you spot another kit, standing quietly beside his mother, who wasn’t moving. He was crying. You walk over. “Hello, what’s wrong?” You sit next to him. “Hi, I’m Sunkit. My mother just died giving birth to Mosskit, Bravekit, and I. Bluekit only has a father.” What do you think?
  4. Soon, your mother comes out of the nursery, telling you to come to meet another kit. “I’m Dustkit!” Dustkit smiles at you and begins to blush.
  5. *3 moons later* You walk over to the younger apprentice, Snowpaw. She's white and gray, with bright green eyes. She became an apprentice just after you were born, but her muscles are already sleek and lean under her short coat, her eyes keen and intelligent. She looks up from her crouch as you approach. "Hi Leafkit! Want to help me practice?" "What are you practicing?" You had seen her creeping around, as if stalking prey, but weren't sure if this was a battle move or hunting technique. "I'm practicing my stalking. Creamfrost is taking me hunting later and I want to finally catch something." She sits up and licks her paw, dragging it over her ear as she talks. "But since Twigpaw is on patrol, I don't have any prey." She stops and looks at you. "Want to help?"
  6. Her tail shoots up in excitement. "Great! Now, walk around the clearing, and I'll stalk you for awhile and pounce out of nowhere!" You nod and began wandering around the clearing. You see her from the corner of your eye as she slips behind the snoozing elders, scurries around dens and stones, and when you turn to head in a different direction she pounces. But you dodge away, as best you can, and run for cover. With an excited yowl she chases after you and catches you quickly. You both tumble over, laughing, as Creamfrost comes up to get Snowpaw.
  7. The next day, you woke early and you stepped outside the nursery before your mother was even awake. You have five more moons until you become an apprentice, and after yesterday you're more eager than ever to start your training! You decide to start thinking about what kind of warrior you want to be.
  8. You spend most of the next two moons leaping, dashing, and play-fighting shadows around camp. Sometimes Snowpaw joins you, as long as she's not busy with her other duties. She seems to enjoy your help especially, as Twigpaw is much older and almost a warrior and even though you're not even close to 6 moons, she likes the idea of helping you learn early; plus, she seems to struggle with fighting skills so you're glad to help out. You're very careful to not attack the warriors after your first incident with the thorn-tunnel; Oakstar had just brought back a patrol with prey and you made them spill all their prey inside the tunnel, making a huge mess. You make up for it by carrying as much as the prey to the fresh-kill pile by yourself, but they were still annoyed.
  9. When you're three moons however there's some changes in camp and you pause in your activities to take note. Sweetheart has retired to the elders den due to a very persistent cough that refuses to respond to treatment. Moonfrost is now Thunderclans medicine cat, and while she is happy about it, she's also worried for his previous mentor.Twigbranch earned her warrior name, leaving Snowpaw as the only apprentice for now. She's also become a bit bossy, so you try to ignore her if possible.Swifttail gave birth to Maplekit and Volekit. They were born a bit early just a few days ago and now the nursery is beginning to feel crowded. Thornclaw, their father, has been busy taking water and prey to the nursery and annoying Swifttail.
  10. You yawn and stretch in a patch of sunlight. It's early morning in Greenleaf, when the forest is full of prey and the smell of lush greenery saturates the air. Sparkheart flicks you with her tail as she leaves the nursery. "Be good today Brightkit." She suddenly turns around, startling you a bit. "I saw you practicing around camp the past few moons. You're getting good. Just keep practicing and I'm sure you'll make a fine warrior." She gives you a lick and walks off to join Swifttail at Sunningrocks. You look around and try to think about what you can do to help prepare you to become an apprentice.
  11. You decide to focus on your hunting skills. Over the next three moons you practice leaping, pouncing, balance, and everything else you've heard the warriors and Snowpaw mention.
  12. Swifttail's kits start watching you when they start to leave the nursery and you don't mind at first, but then they get bolder and start chasing you around camp. You don't mind this so much either because it helps you get fast and helps you practice your leaps; they especially love it when you sail over their heads and pound away. Embertail is always watching to make sure none of them get hurt, as if you would ever hurt them, but is glad you keep them busy for her.
  13. After two moons though Sparkheart stops you. "Brightkit, you need to rest today. Tomorrow is your apprentice ceremony and I want you well rested for your first day!"You feel a tremor of excitement. My apprenticeship ceremony! Finally! You spend the day resting outside the nursery, watching Swifttail's kits exploring camp and getting in trouble. You glance at each of the warriors, wondering who your mentor will be.
  14. The next day comes early for you. You wake up with a start, jostling Sparkheart. She looks up, startled for a moment, then lets out a quick purr. "Todays the day. Come here." She gives you a thorough licking, which you barely pay attention to. Your whole body is quivering in excitement and you can't help but bounce a bit. Before you know it, you hear Oakstar calling the clan. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Flamerock for a clan meeting!"You rush outside, your whole body shaking with excitement still. The rest of the clan is leaving their dens along the trunk or along the camp wall, and Snowpaw is emerging from the apprentices den beneath a thick bramble thicket; she's due for her warrior name soon, so you won't be seeing her in training for long. You have a brief thought, I'll be sleeping there tonight!
  15. Sparkheart comes out behind you and flicks you with her tail, then leads you into the clearing. Oakstar and Hollystripe are sitting on the Flamerock, which leads up to the leaders den. Hollystripe is sitting halfway down the path while Oakstar stands at the top. As you approach, they leap down the tumble and Oakstar stands in the center of the clearing. "Brightkit, you have reached your sixth moon and are ready to become an apprentice. Are you ready to begin your warrior training?" Hollystripe goes to sit with his family.
  16. Your voice rings out clear and loud. Oakstar’s eyes gleam. "Then from this moment on you will be known as Brightpaw!" You stand before Vinestar, newly named, your whiskers quivering. Soon, Sparrowpaw, Sunpaw, and Dustpaw get apprenticed, along with Dovepaw and Honeypaw. Oakstar looks around and nods at someone behind you. "Hollystripe, you will be mentor to Brightpaw." You turn to look at her as she steps forward. You feel a shiver go down your spine. The clan deputy is my mentor!
  17. Oakstar looks at her as he approaches you. "You are a fierce fighter who also knows when you to keep your claws sheathed, and you have trained many of the warriors FlameClan has had lately, so I know you will pass on all your knowledge to Brightpaw." You touch noses with her, nervous now, but she lets out a quiet purr. "You have nothing to be nervous about; you'll be fine." You feel reassured and blink happily at her."Brightpaw!" The clan calls your name and you let out a massive purr. The ceremony continues with Dovepaw’s mentor being Roseleaf, Honeypaw’s mentor being Leafpelt, Sparrowpaw’s mentor being Nettleleaf, Sunpaw’s mentor being Treeclaw, and Dustpaw’s mentor being Moonfrost.
