WTF!!!! I AM ONLY 80%SMARTER THAN A FITH GRADER!?!?! BUT IM IN 6TH GRADE!!!THAT IS IMPOSABLE!!!

On a recent show the question was to spell the word "descendant". The contestant spelled it incorrectly, however the fifth grader spelled it "descendent" but was called incorrect. According to my Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, 1981 edition, "descendent", although not preferred, is an acceptable spelling and I feel should have been considered correct. I would appreciate a response.

I agree w/ Lovely. They don't know the standards of all states. I got 80%, and I'm almost half-way through 8th grade. I've passed all my classes, last year almost having straight A's. You don't always remember everything.

Wrong Answer on last show. An ion has an unbalance of electrons to protons, not anything to do with neutrons as they said on show (guest Ashly O'Toole actually had the right answer "electrons" and should have got the money for it).

I believe this quiz, and the show for one matter, is completely retarded. I, too, am a 7th grader and I got 70%

How are they supposed to know what standerds I was taught. The show went by California's standerds. I live in Tennessee. Obviously they will be different.

Besides, how in the hell am I supposed to remember what I learned in 5th?
