Actually, in most of these cases I would just report and block the scammer. I've only been scammed once (this is what happens when you are a rare noob) and it was because I knew nothing about fox hats. I had a rare fox hat, and decided to trade it for a rare viking helmet. I know, I know. *slaps head* I'm not amazingly rare, but I have a lot of rares. My best rare (currently) is probably a rare cupcake hat that I got a year ago, but I have no clue if it's come back on a recent Monday.
