Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. "June 1st, 2013 Derek's Journal---I guess it's time. The last journal entry I get to write before my aunt drags me to her pathetic, little-ass farm out in the country. I think it's f---ing ridiculous. Why can't my mom just let me stay here in California instead of making me staying in a crummy old shed out in the middle of nowhere just to get 'exercise'? Do I really have to pack everything just to stay at my aunt's farm for three months? Do they hate me that much? Ah, screw it. I'll write more when I get there. Besides, how far is Texas, anyways?"
  2. Slamming his journal shut, Derek shook his head in angry disbelief and spun his head around as his bedroom door opened. "Derek?" called the obviously fake sweet tone of his mother as the older woman blinked her emerald green eyes. "What the hell do you want? Don't you know how to knock?" rasped the voice of the woman's son as he hid his face with the hood of his navy blue jacket and narrowed his eyes. Shoving a few pieces of hair behind her ear, the mother shot back harshly, "Do you know how to properly act like a normally polite teenage boy your age?" Letting out a grunt of disgust, Derek hissed, "Of course I do, MOTHER."
  3. The almost sickly pale old woman shook her head, wrinkles shriveling. "Well, you got ten more minutes until we're leaving for Texas. Got everything you need?" Derek commented sarcastically, "Like I didn't pack everything. My room is basically empty for god sake, the bed just needs to be taken apart and moved!"
  4. "Derek Alexander Johnson!" The old woman shrieked. "Peggy Florance Johnson!" Derek shot back. The mother slammed the door shut while narrowing her eyes and walking towards the living room to pack anything she missed.
  5. "So this is it.." Derek mumbled, finally looking back at his journal again. He picked it up once more and brushed his thumb against the dusty brown surfaced cover and frowned a little, heaving a sigh of grief.
  6. Timeskip; 5:30 p.m.-- "You all ready to go?" Peggy stepped into the room as Derek sat alone in the corner. His bed had already been removed. Taking off his hood, Derek looked up at his mother and murmured aloud, "Yeah I guess."
  7. Derek stepped out of his bedroom and tossed his diary into a box of his belongings and picked it up, carrying it outside and into the moving truck. He took one final look at his big Californian house before opening the door of the moving truck and sitting in the shotgun seat. His blue eyes clouded with sadness as he saw the neighborhood pass.
  8. Timeskip; 2:23 p.m. (The next day)-- The moving truck finally stopped. The ground was a sandy orange topped off with dustbunnies and extreme heat. But there was a few corn crops growing beside a nice little house that looked like a small shed from afar. Stepping out of the truck, Derek was sure to complain, "Where the hell are we!?"
  9. Peggy was sure to comment back in a satisfied tone, "We're at your aunt's farm, of course!"
  10. CLIFFHANGER! What happens next? Find out in part 2!
