If you have ever heard of Marie Antoinette, you must know her tragic story. In this quiz, you will be in her world, be her, make your own choses, but i'll admit, you will end up like her no matter what happens.

  1. You look out the window at the cloudless blue sky. It's 1770, Austria. Your daydreaming about your prince, your husband to be, Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France. The future king of France. And he is your betrothaled. You open a palm size locket containing a painting of him. You think he's sort of handsome, but also skawky-looking. You've never seen him in your life but you still feel something for him, well for his painting anyway.
  2. You are fourteen year old, Princess Maria Antonia Josepha, daughter of Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor and Empress Maria Thérí¨sa. Your father died of smallpox leaving your mother ruler of Austria and a widow of sixteen childern. All your bothers and sisters.
  3. France and Austria are long time enemys. Wanting peace, your mother and the king of France (Louis XV) agreed to marry you to the Dauphin of France, Louis Auguste. So your literally marrying a stranger.
  4. You clucth to the locket and hold it against your chest, soon you will be a queen. Suddenly, your favorite older sister, Maria Carolina comes in, "Antonia, mother wants to speak to you down at the hall." your mother, Maria Thérí¨sa was know for her iron will and since your father's death, she has been stricter then ever. You are afriad of her, even as your mother. You simply nod, Maria Carolina smiles, "Thinking about your prince, Antonia?" she teases.
  5. Something must be wrong if your mother wants to see you, something is not right. You get nervous as you want toward the hall. Servants among the way bow to you but your too worried to bow your head as a thanks.The hall is in fornt of you and you catch a glimsp of a black shape. Your mother. You hesiate before continuing.
  6. Your mother never got over the death of your father. Since his death, she has worn black and nothing but black. Mourning over her loss. Your mother is holding a gold cross, her eyes closed. Slowly, you aporch her. Her eyes open, revealing a cold hard look, "Maria Antonia, i bring great and sad news for you. Tomorrow, you shall leave for France. To unite with the Dauphin of France, in which i hope you know your place."
  7. The morning is harsh, cold and wet as you step outside. Your belongings are already in the carriage. Everything is in place for your departer. Some of your slibings are outside waiting to say good-bye. You hug each one as tears roll down your eyes, then comes your mother, the last in line. She looks straight in your eyes, "I want you to do great things for the french people, that they will say i've sent them an angel." with that, you leave Austria. And your journey for France begins.
  8. Days in the carriage turned into weeks. Everything was boring and sitting all day made you want to scream. But your mothers words kept you in place, making that scream dissolve. The trees went by, nights went on and finally, the carriage stopped. You sit up straight, your heart starts to rise up and thup with excitment against your chest. The door opens and standing behind it is a elegantly dressed lady, she's French, "Are we there?" you ask, looking around.
  9. She bows deeply and lightly before speaking, "Princess Maria Antonia of Austria," she said the last word in almost disgust, "i am, Madame La Bour. Before you are to enter France, you must get rid of every single forgien thing. Then you are to be dressed in the richest and fanciest dresses. After performed all of this, you will reasum to your journey." a monent of silence fills the air before your helped out the carriage.
  10. A large tent is waiting for you. Once inside, they immeately start to undress you. Uncomfortable, yet not complaining. "Um, Madame La Bour?" "Ah, almost forgot to say, that your name has been changed from your name, to Marie Antoinette. More French." The servants start to take off your jewelry, "Must everything go?" you ask Madame La Bour, she nods, "To the last pearl."
  11. The ladys in waiting, along with Madame La Mour have putten on you a beautiful dress. It is the lightest blue you've ever seen, covered in ribbons and jewels. "Is this pure silk?" you ask in amazment. Madame La Bour smiles for the first time, "Yes, the king ordered it for you." you put on a dimaond necklace as you say,"How nice of him." with your strawberry blonde hair, deep bule eyes and fair skin, your sure that you will stun the prince.
  12. Once fully decorated, you are once again in the carriage. "How far are we from France?" "A few hours away." you sigh in reilef, finally, you are going to meet your husband in a few hour. "May our lives be blessed with happniess and undying love." you whisper to yourself before falling to sleep.
  13. Someone shakes you gently awake, "What? Are we..." you mumble, Madamme La Bour shakes me more, "The royal family, including your betrothaled, are a few miles from us. You must perpare yourself before we get there. Hurry, their so close!" you jult up, "Do i look okay? Is everything in place?" you ask worried, she nods, "Yes, you look fine, but look awake!" suddenly, the carriage stops, "We have arrived."
  14. You glup light just as the door opens and a hand extends. You get really nervous but grab hold of the hand and walk down the tiny steps from the carriage. Everyone bows down and is stares at you as you look around. You spot the king, smiling, you walk toward him. Once you've reached him you bow, "Welcome to France, my good princess." the king grins. You smile, "It's a beautiful land, your highness." you say in response.
  15. The gestures to two tall handsome boys, "Meet my grandson, Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France." your heart pounds faster as you eye the too boys. Which one could it be? Sudden, a overweight, akaward boy stumbles between them. And to your horror, the king motions him over to you, he comes five feets away from you and looks down. Surprised, also disapointed, almost disgusted, you force a smile and bow. He does the same. "The future king of France." the king says.
  16. Everyone looks at both of you, everyone expects for you to act happy. You lean toward him and kiss lightly on both of his cheek as everyone expects you to. But you both do it akwardly. You force a chuckle and move away. The king smiles, pleased, "Good then, off we shall go." Louis quickly leaves and you walk slowly toward your carriage. Madame La Mour awaits there for you, "Soon, in a few days at the very least, we'll celebrate your wedding, princess."
  17. Marie Antoinette part 2 will be your wedding day and the bad luck that follows after that. Coming out when i feel like it. :)
