- I vote based on the candidate's positions/background, NOT BASED ON PARTY AFFILIATION!
Who would/did you vote for in the previous Presidential election (1988)?
- VP Bush & Sen. Quayle, we should continue from where Reagan left off.
- Gov. Dukakis & Sen. Bentsen, we need change NOW!
- Depends, both parties are run by elitists, they don't really care about the people :(
What do you think about the 1991 Recession?
- Problematic yet exaggerated, the President tried his best - especially facing Congress
- Indicative of Republican failure, we need change NOW, otherwise it will get worse
- Expected as nobody really cares about the budget or financial security in Washington D.C.
Are you supportive of American foreign policy under President Bush (End of Cold War, NAFTA, Unification of Germany, Kuwait, Somalia, Panama etc.)
- Yes, they were successes and while I have doubts, generally the President is an experienced & skilled diplomat so he knows how to conduct foreign policy.
- No, Republicans are contradictory, we need to stand by our allies & intervene more fiercely to protect minorities and the marginalized.
- HELL NO, the President wasted our money and sank the budget!
Domestically, do you agree with the President's intents & efforts (Immigration Act, Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, CARE Act, Clean Air Act etc.)
- Yes, they go to show how pluralistic & dedicated he is to America's wellbeing
- Contradictory as usual, some were good but in general misguided, directionless & weak
- Somewhat, they did drain the budget though.
What do you think about the President's judicial appointments (Clarence Thomas & David Souter)?
- Noble appointments, even if Souter turned out to vote like a liberal in the end.
- Embarassing & insulting, especially Thomas!
- Mixed opinion, the media lie anyways.
Are you concerned about continued Republican dominance of the Presidency?
- No, I stand by the President & the party, 4 more years!
- Yes, ENOUGH! Bush is too old, we need youthful CHANGE NOW!
- Meh, Red or Blue they're never true.
Are you concerned about Gov. Clinton?
- Yes, he is a problematic individual who's up to no good.
- No, he's the change we need! Youthful, Charming, what's not to like?
- I don't buy the picture, he will keep draining the budget like any other politician.
Are you concerned with Ross Perot running?
- YES, he's a spoiler set up by evil people to prevent the President's reelection!
- Yes, he talks nice and makes good points, why couldn't he join us though?
- NO! HE'S THE LEADER AMERICA NEEDS!
What do you think about taxation & the President's broken pledge not to raise taxes?
- Less taxes - free markets, President Bush faced a hostile Congress & took a sad but necessary compromise, it wasn't pretty but his pragmatism prevailed over hot-headed politicians.
- We need taxes to fund services properly, plus when people from your own party (Buchanan) call you out - it shows you're a hypocrite and a LIAR!
- Taxation is THEFT! THE PRESIDENT IS A THIEF, A LIAR AND A CROOK! GOD SAVE THE BUDGET FROM THE POTOMAC REGIME!

- Bush/Quayle. I STAND WITH THE PRESIDENT! FOUR MORE YEARS!
- Clinton/Gore. NO MORE REPUBLICANS, CHANGE NOW!
