Sorry, but I accidentally forgot to put in the result for Sparkdancer in the results, and you know you can't go back and edit. I didn't realize I had missed Sparkdancer until I was on my second or third question, sorry!

  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. You plunge into an icy river and are carried away. You narrowly miss many rocks but every time you are about to hit, you are jerked away. You have no control over your body and despite the fact that you struggle you cannot move. A gray and white wolf stands on the bank, running with you, urging you on. But he offers no encouragement or advice. You finally manage to let out a strangled bark, but it is ripped away by the wind. You try to call to the wolf to help you, but you can make no sound. Yet he seems to understand what you are trying to say. With a cruel laugh, he transforms into the Plain pack leader that kidnapped you. He jumps into the river and swims toward you with astonishing speed. He catches up to you, and, using his paws, pushes you under. Suddenly, you are frozen. You are not moving with the current, but it is flowing around you. You try to struggle upwards for air, but the Plain Alpha hold you down. You cannot breath or move. Then the wolf pushes down, and the bottom of the river is hurtling toward you at amazing speed. You slam into it, and a cracking noise which must surely be your neck feels your ears. With a yelp, you jerk awake. Smoketail is standing over a snapped stick, looking worried. "_______? Are you okay?" He asks nervously. You are instantly on your feet, shaking. To hide it, you furiously itch your ear. The shaking is nearly gone, and much less noticeable. "Yes, Smoketail, I'm fine. Just a bad dream." You answer. Your stomach growls loudly. "I'm gonna go try and catch some fish. Be back in a few minutes." He nods, understanding that you are still recovering from the dream and need time alone. you feel grateful, and head toward the river.
  2. You have no success at catching anything. Every time you get close to a fish,it darts away. You can't lean to far into the river, either, for if you accidentally fell in that would be the end of you. Finally you give up, growling in frustration. As you stare at the silver ribbons of fish swimming in the water, Smoketail walks up holding a jackrabbit in his jaws. "This was all I could get quickly, but later we can try to kill a Zenora." Zenoras are deer-like creatures which move in groups of about five and live out in open places like the Plain. They're small, so they aren't really good eating (You'd tasted one when an injured Zenora had wandered into the Forest) but right now it sounds like the tastiest meat. Smoketail drops the jackrabbit at your feet in a sign of respect. You nod at him and bite into the rabbit. Instantly an awful taste fills your mouth. You gag and instantly throw it back up. "______? You okay?" Smoketail asks. "It tastes awful!" You gasp. Smoketail sniffs it and jerks away, disgusted. "Ugh. What's wrong with it? Trust me, Plain animals normally don't taste or smell this way." He mutters. "How do I know you didn't poison it?" You blurt out suspiciously. He's nice and has been a great help, but you are still unsure whether or not to trust him. "He looks hurt. "Why would I do that? I told you, I'm not with the Plain." Suddenly your vision darkens and you fall backwards, unable to see. You gasp as a horrible burning pain feels you, then you pass out.
  3. INTERMISSION! Let's sing a song! 'I throw my hands up in the air sometimes, singing aaaaaa ooooooo, gotta let go! Seriously, I'm just doing this to annoy everyone taking the quiz! Suspense, you know?
  4. Your eyes flutter open. Rocks are on three sides, the other side is open and you can see that the sky is dark. You moan and pull yourself onto your feet. What happened? You feel dizzy and are forced to sit back down. Suddenly you remember. The rabbit must have been poisoned, as you suspected. But who, or what, did it. It could have been that the rabbit ate something that poisoned its bloodstream and got into the meat, or someone, such as a Plain wolf, could have done something to it. But how could a Plain wolf know that Smoketail was going to catch that particular rabbit? Unless he caught the rabbit, poisoned it, then gave it to you. You sigh and shake your head, there are so many possibilities! And you have no idea which one of them is right. For the moment, you simply want to try and recover. And where is Smoketail? You stand up again, ignoring the wave of nausea that instantly hits you. The fresh air of the night revives you as you totter out of the rock den. Stumbling, you just manage to keep from falling as you trip over a carcass. Looking down, you realize it is the jackrabbit carcass. A nasty smell drifts up, and you gag. Your head clouds, and you almost pass out again; but you manage to walk pass the carcass. Smoketail is nowhere to be seen, and you can't smell him on the gentle breeze. You scan the grasses; he could be anywhere hiding under the long stalks, downwind of you. Just then you hear a rustling, and you turn around as quickly as you can without falling over. "Smoketail?" You whisper, gazing into the shadows.
  5. "______? You're awake!" Smoketail's familiar voice comes out of the darkness. Relief floods through you, but then, just as quickly, suspicion makes you stand up and take on a ready stance. If Smoketail is really with the Plain and poisoned the rabbit, right now would be a perfect time to finish you off. Smoketail comes out of the long grasses, looking concerned. "______? What's wrong?" He asks, seeing your defensive posture. You gaze at him and slowly sit back down. He doesn't seem to want to kill you. Yet.
  6. Suddenly Smoketail seems to understand. He sits down and looks at you, his bright eyes shining in the dark. "You know I would never poison that rabbit to get rid of you, right?" He asks. "I don't know what to think, Smoketail. But you were a Plain wolf, and your dad is the pack leader of a pack that wants me as hostage. I want to believe you wouldn't, but I'm so unsure." You answer honestly, not meeting his eyes. "I would never do that! Besides, I only gave you that rabbit first as a sign of respect." He explains, voice faltering. It was obvious he was upset that you thought he would try and kill you. "Then who did it, and how?" You inquire almost viciously. "I don't know, that was what I was trying to figure out while you were unconscious." He says. "If another Plain wolf did it, than how would he know that you were going to get that particular rabbit?" You wonder aloud, ignoring the fact that Smoketail had lain down submissively and that he was gazing at you with a beseeching look. "I don't know, besides it could have been a plant. Rabbits eat anything that grows from the ground." He reminds you, his voice sounding almost far off as you had stood and were pacing, the dizziness almost gone. He remained on the ground, head on his paws. "It was a strong poison though, my nose stayed numb for nearly two hours after I sniffed the meat. But when I carried it to you, it had no effects. It must have just been the inside." He mutters thoughtfully. "Do you think I would have died if I hadn't thrown the meat back up?" You ask nervously. To think that you had been that close to death scared you. "Probably. Are you having any side effects from eating it?" He inquires, and you happily realize that you gave no sign that you were dizzy and nauseous. "When I woke up I could barely stand, the dizziness was so bad. I also almost threw up several times. But I'm feeling better now." You added hurriedly, not wanting to show Smoketail that you had a weakness, just in case. "And why did you leave that carcass right outside the rocks?" You question him, "I almost passed out as soon as I smelled it." He looks sheepish. "Sorry, I just nudged it away as I dragged back into the rocks, I wasn't paying attention to where." "Thanks." you say and lay down as well, eyeing Smoketail as you did so. He didn't notice, in fact he was practically glowing from the 'thanks' you had bestowed to him.
  7. You two lay there for a long time, pondering the mystery. Finally you rise and your stomach growls. Scanning the horizon, you spot a herd of four Zenora in the distance. "Let's get breakfast!" You cry and run forward without waiting for an answer. You soon hear Smoketail's footsteps behind you and you twist around to see him galloping forward, obviously enjoying this morning run. You whirl around to run with him, your stride matching his. You want to howl, to proclaim your joy, but you know that not only would the Zenoras hear you and run away, any Plain wolves nearby would be alerted of your presence. Soon you near the herd, and you and Smoketail split off into different directions without saying a word. You creep toward the Zenoras, and fix your gaze on an older Zenora, who is hobbling and will probably die soon anyway. Smoketail sees you move toward the Zenora, and he moves forward so that he can cut it off if it tries to escape. You move soundlessly toward the creature, flicking your ear at Smoketail. He gets the message and freezes, crouching in place. You continue to move toward the Zenora and you tense, ready to spring. Slowly you creep forward, than, as lithely as a snake, you leap. The younger Zenoras scatter as they spot you, letting out high pitched brays. You ignore them and move towards the old one, which is frantically trying to escape. But it has no chance, you bound forward and herd the Zenora forward, constantly at one heel or the other. You push it towards Smoketail's position then slow, waiting for him to strike. And strike he does. He leaps out of the grass, powerful legs pushing him forward. He latches onto the neck of the Zenora, and it falls to the ground, eyes glazing. You and Smoketail lean forward and stare into it's eyes, an old wolf custom. As you stare into the Zenora's eyes, you and Smoketail express thanks. In return, the Zenora's eyes freeze into two last expressions, welcome and acceptance. Welcome toward you and Smoketail, and acceptance concerning it's death. Wolves need to eat, and must kill to eat, but we never kill in cold blood. We always thank our prey.
  8. After you and Smoketail eat, crows swoop down and began to devour the food. You and Smoketail move on, knowing that the Zenora commotion might alert any Plain sentries. You move quietly, but the thrill of the hunt is still with you. You'd never moved as one with another wolf before as you had with Smoketail. It felt good, you realize. You sneak a glance at Smoketail. he moves beside, quietly and stoically. You suddenly realize that you don't mind his presence. You turn your gaze away, wondering what this strange feeling was. Could it possibly be love? You shake your head and move faster, ignoring Smoketail who playfully nudges you. It's obvious that he likes you a lot, but do you like him back? You wonder for a long time on this until you and Smoketail finally reach a large outcropping of sheltering rocks. You happily rest, once again planting sticks around your sleeping place, just in case. You sleep well that night, falling easily into a heavy, dreamless sleep. When you awake, Smoketail is up and is watching the sun rise. You realize you slept the whole day and night through! You immediately jump up and shake your fur, squinting your eyes to rid the sleep of them. You walk over to Smoketail and sit next to him, saying nothing. He remains still, though it is obvious he knows you are there.
  9. You two sit there for a long time, saying nothing. But both of you are extremely aware of each other. Finally Smoketail speaks. "______, I think, I.... I think I like you a lot!" He blurts. So wonderfully smooth, right? "Smoketail, I like you too." You say, knowing he means an entirely different 'like'. "No, not like that," he struggles to explain, "I like you like I would like a mate." He finally says, then stares down at the ground. "I know that you feel that way, but Smoketail, I don't know...I still need to return to my pack. Maybe later..." You trail off, knowing that he was basically asking you if you felt the same, and wanted you to explain your feeling. He looks downcast, but he looks up at you, his eyes full of hope. "But there is still time...I look forward to when I can win your heart." He says. You smile, and in a repulsive reaction, lean forward and push him backward with your paws. he is caught off guard and lets out a small yelp in surprise. you laugh and then he laughs as well. Soon both of you are rolling around, giggling and tussling playfully. You don't know what will happen with you relationship with Smoketail, but right now you decide not to worry, and enjoy the moment. You know soon you will return to the Forest, and then, maybe, you would worry about it. Meanwhile however, you decide to continue your spy job.
  10. The end! To this one at least! I hope you enjoy! Please rate and comment! Any advice is welcome!
