  1. You closed your eyes and jumped out. You held your breath. You didn't hit the ground, you didn't see a light, and you didn't feel anything. "You can open your eyes now." You took a peek and saw you were in the air. You wings were strong and flappin! Alice was soaring threw the skies. She flew up high and swooped down to you. "We need to go before anyone sees." She takes you hand and takes you to the roof of the school. You saw everyone there. Trevor had these thick strong wings that looked alot like a blanket. Aiden had long thin wings that looked more like knives that cut threw the air. Derek had neat strong broad wings that looked sooooo graceful. Rafe (last but not least) had long skinny wings. They looked plush still. "Holy crap." You said. "You like?" Rafe asked. "Catch my good side." Trevor turned just a bit and flashed a smile. "Flight school?" You asked pointing at them. "No. You guys got the hang of it. We're going for a midnight glide." Alice said and shrugged. "She's lying!" Rafe yelled. "I overheard you talking about a beach party at midnight!" Aiden pointed and laughed. "Taking the new kid out for a party? I'm headin back in." Derek smirked and started flying away. Trevor and Aiden chased after him. "No bro. Your coming." Trevor smirked. They draged him down. "Damn you all." Derek growled. "I didn't do a thing you know!" Rafe held his hands up. Alice stepped back and you did the same. "Let's just go. Just once. Don't you ever miss the outside world?" Alice asked. "Fine. If something goes wrong and one of us ends up drunk, I'm out." Derek snapped. "Party crasher." Trevor muttered. "Let's fly!" Alice took your hand and started hovering.
  2. "There's a clearing right there. We change into our bathing suits there." Alice pointed. You saw a dark spot in the middle of the woods. "I don't have a swim suit." You say. "I got one for you." She winked and you two dived toward the clearing. "Spread your wings!" She yells. You spread them out. The air smacked them and you started hovering down. "Small flaps." Alice coached. You did that and you feet landed. Alice handed you something black. It was your swimsuit. It was a black two piece. "Recoil your wings and we'll change." She ordered. You did that and found your regular clothes on. **FEW MOMENTS LATER** You and Alice were walking toward the beach. "So you girls are just gonna ditch us?!" Trevor yelled. "Yep!" "Pretty much!" You guys yelled. You walked out of the forest and saw the party. Then some people catch your eye. "Hey. Don't they-" "Go to Ledger Wise like us? Yea." Alice smiled. "Let's go meet some guys." She starts dragging you to the party. "Alice! slow down!" You yell. Before you know it, your in a crowd of people and Alice was long gone. "ENJOYING YOURSELF?" you turned and saw Rafe. He was in swim trunks and was shirtless. He was ripped. "Angels are all ripped out ________." He smiled. You slap his right arm. "Don't go reading my mind." You tease. He gives you a quick hug and turns toward the coolers. "TREVOR! WHAT THE HELL?!" You yelled. You saw him in a hot dog eating contest. He mumbled something you couldn't understand. "I'm in a contest but don't tell Alice!" You looked at him. Did you just read his mind? You felt embarrassed so you ran toward the sea. Aiden was at the edge of the water running. "HEY ________!" He yelled and kept running. Before you know it, a mob of girl run right past you. "He always has a way with girls." you turned and saw Derek right behind you.
  3. "Your probably lucky your not being chased by girls like Aiden." You teased. He smirked. "I'm not lucky. Girls just try to avoid me because look." He gestured to himself. "I'm a really tall, ripped out, and look like a thug." He stares at you. "I don't see that. Just a guy who looks a bit..." You couldn't find the words. "Yea. Thought so." He says. "But, uh." He starts. Then Alice, Rafe, Aiden, and Trevor run up to you. "We lost track of time. It's almost 4 am!!!" Alice says. "We need to get out." Derek snaps.You all run to the forest but your not fast enough. "Come on!" Aiden yells. He picks you up and uses super speed. Your in the clearing again. "Ok. We change back, hide out swimsuits under the rocks, and fly like hell." Rafe says. You do that and start flying. You cut threw the sky. You finally see the school and fly toward your window. It's still open and you fell right in. You tumbled to the floor and landed on your head. you let out a moan and recoil your wings. There was a flash of light and you were in your regular clothes. You fell on your bed and fell to a deep sleep.
  4. There was pounding at your door. "_________! OPEN UP!" They screamed. You let out a moan and threw your pillow at the door. "GO AWAY!" You yelled. The door clicked and opened. Everyone walked in. "Good news. All classes canceled." Rafe said. "What?" You asked and rubbed your eyes. "I flooded all classrooms so we can get some rest." Alice said. "Nice look __________." Aiden teased. You stopped rubbing your eye when you realized You had a bed head, red eyes, and horrible breath. "I need a shower." you stood up and ran into the bathroom. You shut it and showered real fast. When you can out, you put on a a tshirt you got at some concert and jeans. You hair was tamed and your face looked awake. You were bare foot. "So why are you guys here?" You asked. "We have nothing to do. We want to fly but its day and the people are out there." Trevor pointed out the window. "Well, I'm going for a swim." You stood up. Then their faces brightened up. They all tackled you for a hug and Derek even joined! "You made the team!" Alice shrieked. "I did?" You asked. "Hell yea!" She shouted. "CONGRATZ!!" They shouted. "I should get to practice then." You struggled out of their grip.
  5. "You know where the gym is right?" trevor asked. "Yea. Outside and looks like a green house." you said. He kissed your forehead. "Im just worried u might get lost." he whispered. "MY TURN!" Rafe shouted and threw Trevor on the bed. "Have a nice swim." He gave u a smile and a kiss on the head. Aiden grabbed his shirt collar and threw his aside. "Swim strong my love." he said and kissed ur head. You waited for Derek to throw him back but nothing happened. He was starring out the window. "Problem?" Alice asked. "Did they tell us today was Parents Day?" Derek asked. "No, why?" Alice asked. "Theyre here. And I see _______'s mom." he said. "Lets go meet her thn." You say. Aiden grabbed ur wrist. "She mustn't know about our secret." he said. You nodded and dragged them all out. You stopped short when you remembered something. You never forgave her for abandoning you here. You yelled at her, ignored her, and left with out a good bye. "I cant go." you stopped at the stairs. "Oh yea. You guys had a fight." Trevor blurted. Derek thumped his head and gestured toward u. "Sorry bout tht..." he says. "It's fine. Well since we're this far, let's go to the cafe." You made up. "Ok." Alice ran down the stairs. "LAST ONE DOWN PAYS!" She yelled. Derek jumped over the rail. "DIDN'T BRING MONEY!" He yelled. Aiden picked you up. Before you know it, your down the stairs. Rafe and Trevor were panting when they came down. "Tired already?" You asked. "YA THINK?!" Rafe panted. "Oh and I just remembered we dont have to pay for it with a student card." Alice held her's up. "Are you FREAKIN SERIOUS!?!?" Trevor yelled. Then the intercom buzzed. "Good morning Students. You must've been informed yesterday about Parent's Day in Homeroom. Please come down to the auditorium to meet your parents." Then it stopped. You shot them all a glare. "I was in Detention. Why did'nt you guys tell me?!" You waved your hands. The railing started to get crooked. "_________, stop." Trevor said over gritted teeth. "I was in the library with Aiden and Rafe doing research." Alice said. "I got mobbed by my fan club." Trevor rolled his eyes. "And I went to get you from Detention." Derek said. "Oh... Well how are we going to skip this?" You asked. "I got an idea." Alice smiled deviously. "No Alice." Aiden moaned. "Yea we're going with it." Alice grabbed your wrist. "What are we doing?" You asked. "You're going to your room to 'study'." She made air quotes. "I'll show your mom your busy and she'll leave!" Alice says. The guys let out a deep breath. "We thought your were going to freeze her." Trevor said. You decided to push him threw your powers. When you did he flew in the air and hit the wall like Caroline. "Ow..." He says and gets up. He starts brushing himself off. "Lets go." Alice says. Derek stopped you guys tho. "Then her mom will think the school gave her to much work and pull her out." He growls. "Then how do we get rid of her?" Alice asked. "We dont." Rafe said. "HUH?" Alice asked. "We go with ___________. Say our parents died and some of us are brother and sister. She'll buy it." He gave you a wink. "Fine. Let's go..." Alice moans. the guys throw their arms around you and Alice.
  6. **TIME FORWARD** You were hugging your mom. "Oh mom this is Trevor, Aiden, Alice, Rafe, and Derek." You pointed at them. They waved hi except for Derek. "I have to go. I promised to help the Headmaster with his office." Derek said. You could tell he was lying. "I caused the mess too, I should go." You told your mom. "I have to go too. I got a call during the speech about family. They lost my work I spent all night working on. Well see ya later kiddo." You mom forced a smile on and ran out. "What the hell was that about?!" You yell at Derek. "I need to tell you something. Alone." He snapped his glance at the rest. Alice only took them and said she'll get them some coffee. Derek lead you to his dorm. "What the hell was that about? You dont want to hang out with us?" You asked. "Cause it was your mom. She was there ok? I freaked out." He said. "What?" You asked. He pulled out something from his bed. A box. "A box?" You asked. "Look at it." He said. You opened it and you saw some torn and burned up basketball shorts and a white tshirt. "What is this?" You asked. "I wore that the night of the fire. The night this monster came in and took my family away." He threw a sketchbook at you. It was flipped to a page. It was your mom. You flipped threw it and saw a house on fire and a kid standing there watching it burn. "Wh-What?" You asked. "When I was 12, I was in a foster family. Best time of my life. I was happy there. Until one night, it was family movie night. I didn't want to watch because I had a lot on my mind. I went up to bed while the rest of the family stayed down stairs. At about 1am, i smelled smoke. I got up and saw the place on fire. There was also alot of screaming from the game room just down the hall. I ran threw the fire, and burned my leg pretty good, and hit the door. I tried to open it but it wouldn't open. "SHUT UP!" I heard. There was a gun shot and more screams. I stepped back and kicked down the door. Just like that, my whole family died. There were guys with guns shooting them continuously. I stod there and watched them die. The guys with guns, I ran at them. I was mad, like really mad. I just ran right threw them and they shot themselves. I looked at my family and saw this lady staring at me, with a gun. She was pointing it at me. I heard fire trucks in the distance. I got one good look of that lady. I looked at my family and, from the second floor, I jumped out the window. Right past her and out the window. I was alright but didn't stop running. I ran until I was at this tree where I usually take a nap after school. The police found me the next day and threw me in here. I found the scar the fire left when I ran through it few weeks later. I had nightmares since then. I sketched the lady's face so I can remember what she looks like. So one day, she can pay for what she did." He said.
  7. You looked in the box again and found a dogtag. You picked it up and saw the name. 'DEREK SOUZA'. You looked at him. He had his eyes closed. You slipped the dogtag over him and he was wearing it. He looked at it for a while. "Thank you." he whispered. He lifted his head up to see you. He started leaning closer and you were too. He breath was warm and when his lips met yours, you felt like you died and went to heaven. His lips were soft and smooth. They were gental and felt like an angel. When he released, you still felt like it was heaven. "Thank you." He whispered. He put the box back under the bed. "I'm sorry this happened." You whispered.
  8. You sat on the bed talking. Then there was pounding at the door. "It's open." Derek called. Alice, Trevor, Aiden, and Rafe burst in. "We know!" They shouted. "YOU WERE SPYING ON US???" You screamed. "No. Just heard the story." Alice ran over and hugged Derek. "I am sooooooo sorry you had to see all that." She said. The guys were looking at him. They probably didn't know about the kiss. "Sorry dude. We didn't know." Rafe said. Aiden rubbed the back of his neck and Trevor had this look on his face. "Let's grab some dinner." Alice said. "Whoa! Dinner?" You asked. "Yea. You spent the whole day here." She said. "Holy crap." You whispered. "Common! LETS GOOOO!!!" She moaned. "I hear it's soup." Trevor said. "I hope not." Aiden snickered.
  9. You walked down the stairs when you remembered you left your phone in your room and it's probably ringing like crazy. Trevor insisted to go but you were already running. When you unlocked your door, you saw your phone on your nightstand. You checked it and nothing was new. You walked out and locked the door before Sarah and Caroline stopped you. "Look I dont wanna fight." You said. "Then that would make this alot easier." Sarah muttered. They started swinging at you. You pushed Sarah down the hall and Caroline too. You started walking down the hall before you heard their foot steps charging at you. Something came over you. You fliped over them in the air and landed right behind them. You ran toward them and slid right under them. Your at the stairs now and your sliding down the rail. You jumped off and was in the cafeteria. "Whoa," You say.
