Deep in the cool forest, a lone golden shape was laying beside a small stream, small tears trickling down her muzzle. The young cat's once-youthful golden eyes now held aged layers of sadness, pain, and regret. Raindrops began to fall, scarce and scattered, but Sandpaw didn't notice. All she saw was her sister's body, warmed by fire, but cooled by death. As the rain pattered on, her eyelids began to droop, and she fell into light slumber. She awoke in a starry feild, in which stood a golden cat almost identical to herself. "Heatherpaw!" She cried out, running towards her sister. But no matter how fast she moved her paws, she couldn't seem to reach her sibling. Sandpaw looked up, her eyes streaming. "I miss you." She murmured. Heatherpaw nodded, her own eyes mirroring her sister's sorrow. "I know. But never forget, I will always watch over you..." The whole scene seemed to blow away in a sudden gale of wind, letting nothing remain but a small golden apprentice, sobbing for her sister.
