SnowCraux Pt. 2

Welcome to part two of SnowCraux. I had some ideas so I really wanted to make a new series. There are a few more characters that are introduced in this part (:

Also I'm still going to be working on Teenage Chronicle, but they are two completely different stories, plots, and have different characters so don't get confused!

  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. Once I finished the food hunting, I paid and went back to the car. It was dark out and I had a hard time looking for my car, and It was cold out. I was glad I had worn my sweater. I put everything in the back seat and turned on the car. I sat there for a few minutes before leaving so the car could heat up. The radio was on and I was listening to music. "So I take this road," I was talking to myself. "and turn oh my god!" Something jumped in front of my car and I hit the brakes as hard as I could to avoid hurting it, but I had hit it.
  2. I stopped parked the car and got out, running wildly to the front. "Oh my god, what have I done?" I said to myself as I felt fear strike through me. My eyes were watering and tears were falling. I got searched around and found nothing, so I immediately checked under the car. "There's nothing.." I wiped away my tears with my sleeve. "But.." I studied the front of my car running my hand over the license plate and hood. There was nothing, no scratch, not dent, no sign that I had hit something.
  3. I drove home as fast as possible, ignoring the fact that the speed limit was 35.I was confusing and scared. What had I hit? Had I even hit anything? Was it okay? I had a million thoughts crashing and spinning around through my mind. When I got home I unpacked everything and ran up to my room. My room was pretty big, considering that I was in here alone. Most of my stuff was unpacked so I had nothing to do. I finally decided that I was going to do some research on my new school. I opened my laptop and searched 'Lincoln High School'. "Hmm," They had a picture of a big brick school. It looked old and elegant at the same time, like it had been around for hundreds of years.
  4. My phone rang on loud which scared the crap out of me. "Hello?" I answered. "Hey!" a familiar voice yelled into the phone, "It's Elora." "Hi," I lamely replied. "So turns out there's a pool party before the bonfire tomorrow. You're coming." "Swimming isn't really my thing." I shut my laptop and sat at the edge of my bed. "Who says we have to swim?" She laughed, "bring extra clothes for after. You better look good new girl. See you tomorrow at 3." She said and hung up before I could answer. "Great," I walked over to a few boxes still unpacked and rumbled through them looking for my swimming suit. "this will have to do.." I say staring at the black two piece. As I put my suit into a beach bag I saw that it was already two in the morning. "Crap," I quickly changed and brushed my teeth. I went back and laid on my bed, thinking about this new town and doing the best I could to try and fall asleep.
  5. ** "Wake up hun" I heard a faint voice. "____, wake up." The voice grew louder. "hmmph." I groaned and opened my eyes to find my dad standing next to me bed. "Dad! It's so early.." I whined as I stretched out. "___ it's 1:15 in the afternoon.." My eyes widened. "I have to get ready!" I ripped the sheets off of me and ran to the bathroom. "For what?" I dad asked from outside the door. "I forgot to mention I made a friend and she invited me to hang out." I replied grabbing a towel. "Alright, we'll I woke up to tell you I'm leaving for a few days." "Already?" I frowned. "Yeah. Works been backed up lately so they'll need me." He knocked on the door and I opened it. "Be safe dad." I hugged him tightly. "You too. I'll be calling every hour." He kissed my head and pulled away. "Have fun, but not to much fun." He smiled down at me. "Have a good trip dad." I smiled back and returned to the bathroom, and with that we both went our separate ways.
  6. I got out of the shower by 1:45 and blow dried my hair with my stomaching sounding like a dying whale. My hair was naturally wavy so I didn't have to do much to it. "Hmm, this will have to do." I said to mys reflection. I had on shorts and a white cut off. My stomach roared again. I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen, pouring myself a bowl of cereal, when I heard the doorbell ring. I quickly walk to the door and opened it. "Hi! I'm your new neighbor. Welcome to the neighborhood!" I saw and woman and boy standing in front of me. The woman had sandy hair and grey eyes, and was smiling widely at me.
  7. "Hi..and thank you." I smiled back at her. "My name is Terri and this is my son Jackson," she pointed to the guy next to her with dark hair and hazel eyes. He slightly smiled and I smiled back. He was taller than me and looked a year older, and also looked like a jock, but I didn't want to jump to conclusions to quickly. "Oh! I have something for you. It's in the car, I'll be right back." She smiled and left me with her son. He was looking around and then finally stopped to look at me. "So how do you like Portland so far?" He asked and leaned against the door frame. "It's good so far." I replied. He laughed a little. "it's not good until you go to the shore. They're having a bonfire tonight. You should go." He stared at me. I didn't know if he was inviting me to go with him, or just to go in general. "Yeah I heard about it, I'm going with Elora." "So you meet Elora?" He smiled. Wow he had a cute smile. "Uh yeah I just meet her. Is that a good or bad thing?" I raised my eyebrow. "Its good," He laughed, she's known for her carefree personality. Everyone loves her." He added. I guess I made a good first friend then.
  8. "So are you gunna go to Lincoln?" "Yup," I replied. "Here you go!" Terri came and interrupted our awkward small talk, shoving a pan into my arms. "Oh, brownies," I looked at the pan, "thank you." "Well I hope your enjoying Portland so far." She smiled. Boy did she smile a lot. "It's nice here," I responded, "and peaceful." "We better leave you, hope to see you soon dear." She shook my free hand. "Bye, and thank you again for the brownies." "No, it was my pleasure." She said and let go of my hand. "See you at the bonfire." Jackson said and walked towards his mothers car. I retreated from the door quickly and continued to get ready, after I ate. I spent the next 15 minutes packing my bag full of clothes I was going to wear. I heard music start to play and I realized it was my phone so I ran to get it. "Hello?" I breathed into the phone. "I'm here so hurry up." Elora said on the other line. "Coming," I said and hung up. I grabbed my bag and walked outside. "Nice car," I said as I slid into the Camero's passenger seat. "16th birthday present from my dad." She giggled. "So where's the pool party?" I asked. "Not sure, some random girls." She replied and began the drive.
  9. We drove most of the way getting to know each other, and by the time we got there we were best friends. "Wow. This is a nice house," I gawked at the mansions as Elora parked the car. "Her parents make pretty good money." She replied as we stepped out of the car. "Come one, I'm ready to look good." She smirked and hooked her arm through mine, leading me up the path to the mansion. The house was full of people sitting around talking and dancing, and all I could hear was the music playing through out the house. I could feel everyones eyes one me as Elora led me to the backyard. "Dont mind them. They haven't seen a new pretty face in awhile." Elora said and sat down on a beach chair, and I sat down next to her. "Drink?" She handed me a plastic margarita cup full of, well margarita. I didn't really drink, but It was my first night out in a new town. I grinned at her and drank. I could taste the sour salt and sweet liquid mix in my mouth. "That's the way I like it," Elora smirked at me after I drank the cup.
  10. The sun felt good, soaking my skin with its warmth. "Hi!" A couple of girls walked up to me. "Hi.." I replied awkwardly. "You're the new girl right?" She asked and I nodded. She smiled, "I'm Natalie, it's so nice to meet you! You're so pretty!" She shook my hand firmly. "Uhm. thanks," I replied. The other two girls hugged me as if they've known me forever. We talked for a few more minutes and they left. "Well someone is a little popular," Elora smirked as another group of people introduced themselves. I shrugged, "they're just trying to be friendly." "I guess," Elora replied. "So whe- AH!"I felt freezing water spill all over my stomach and legs. I stood up and saw a girl with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes smirking. "oops, sorry." I wiped some of the slushie off. "What the hell is your problem?" I flicked some slushie at her. She gasped and stepped backwards into her two friends. "I said it was an accident." she wiped off the slushie, "you better watch who you're messing with new girl." She hissed and walked away. "Are you okay?" Elora stood up next to me. "Yeah, but my shirt is soaked."I frowned. "Just ignore Marcie and her two bimbo puppets" Elora said and helped me clean off my shirt. "What's her problem anyways?" I asked. "Marcie is selfish. She doesn't like anyone getting more attention then her and well since your the new girl, you automatically get a lot of attention." She explained. "Great I already have an enemy." I said and took off my shirt, leaving me in my bikini. "I guess I can stay in my swim suit, it's a pool party anyways." I shrugged at sat down. Elora grinned, "I think I'll join." We both sat back, closed our eyes, and let the sun kiss our skin.
  11. ** "Time to go!" I felt hands grab my shoulders. "What?" I rubbed my eyes and leaned up. Elora was packing up her stuff. "We feel asleep for a few hours, the bonfire just started. Let's go." She handed me my bag, and I got up and followed her to her car. She started the car and pulled out, "The bonfire is going to be way better, trust me." Elora smirked and turned on the radio. "You'll see different people then who you saw at the poop party. Everyone who goes to the shore is from the West side." She explained as she drove down a dirt road leading into the woods. "Is it going to be cold out?" I asked. "There's one thing you should know about Portland; Its hot during the day, and cold at night." Ezra laughed. She pulled into a small opening where there were a bunch of other cars parked. "We're here," She parked and smirked at me. "Where are we going to change?" I asked grabbing my extra set of clothes from the back seat. "In my car, or the woods. You pick." I stared at her to make sure she was kidding, but she wasn't. Since the car had tinted windows I decided to change in there. I put on my skinny jeans, black boots, and white long sleeve. My silver necklace was hanging around my neck, and after being attacked by a slushie, my hair was still decent.
  12. "This way," Elora hooked her arm though mine and led me down a dirt path in the woods. It would of normally been creepy, but this path was full of talking teenagers walking in the same direction and there were mini colored lanterns that were lighting up the path all the way down to wherever it led. "This is so pretty," I stared at the lanterns lighting up out path. Elora was smiling at my reaction. "Who does all of this?" I asked gawking. Elora shrugged, "No idea, but they've been here for awhile." We continued walking down the path and I finally saw another opening, but it was by the lake. We were on the edge of the forest, it was a huge piece of land that led to the beach by the lake. I saw the lanterns hanging around the in the tree's and were lighting up the place. There was also a giant fire in the middle, and there was music playing. "This place is amazing!" I spun around absorbing my surroundings. Elora grinned, "It's like our own little world." People were playing volleyball on the beach, dancing on the land, sitting around the fire, and swimming in the water.
  13. "Let's go get something to drink." Elora led me to a guy by a keg. "Two cups," He handed Elora and I each a red plastic cup. I could tell by the smell that it was beer. Elora drank half the cup and started walking towards the beach. I followed her drinking the cup. We sat down next to each other on the beach, silently watching the people also on the beach playing volleyball. I had finished drinking my cup when Elora elbowed me. "Look there's Jace," She was facing the opposite way so I had to turn towards the bonfire. "Which guy? There's like 50." I scoped the crowd. "The one in the blue plain shirt," She pointed and I slapped her hand away. "Don't point!" I hissed and looked back. "Blue plaid shirt.. Blue plaid shirt," I repeated this mantra until I finally found a guy who fit the description. "Blue.. plaid.. shirt.." I stared at the guy with dark brown hair and big blue eyes, and a gorgeous smile. "Stop drooling over him," Elora snapped her finger in front of my face, and I returned my attention to her. "I wasn't drooling over him," I glared at her and she rolled her eyes and laughed. "Sure," She replied. I took one last look at him before I turned around and found Jackson in front of us. " Hey girls," He sat down with us. I smelled mint, and fresh soap and realized it was Jackson. "Hi," We both replied. "SO what do you think of the shore?" He asked me. "It's amazing," I replied. It seemed like a place where I could go to just hang out and not worry about things or feel stressed.
  14. I saw Jackson smiling, "Told ya." I laughed and went to grab my cup, but I remembered it was empty. "Be right back. I'm getting us some drinks." Elora stood up and walked toward the guy at the keg. Jackson and I talked and he turned out to be a really nice guy. "I'll make sure to help you at school," He smiled at me. "Thanks," I smiled back. "Here you go," Elora handed me another cup and sat back down next to me. "Bet I can finish it before you," Elora smirked at me. "It's on," I put the cup to my mouth and chugged the cold liquid. I heard Elora choke, "Okay you win." She coughed, but at that time I had already finished. "Damn," Jackson laughed at me. My head was beginning to feel foggy and I felt a little buzzed. "I"ll be back," I said standing up. They both nodded as I walked towards the bonfire.
  15. I could smell the wood burning, ashes covering the brown, now black wood in the middle of the red and orange flames. The music filled my ears as I walked past the dancing crowd, and down a path in the woods. The music began to fade in the distance, but it was still all around me. the air was now fresh, and cool. I let out a deep breath and saw the heat from it float into the air. I use to pretend that I was a dragon when I was a little girl. I heard a twig snap and I whiped around quickly.
  16. "Hey," I saw a guy with blond hair and dark brown eyes. "you're the new girl right?" He stepped towards me and I nodded. He reeked of strong alcohol, causing me to feel nauseous. "No on mentioned that you were this pretty," He smiled at stepped towards me. "What are you doing out here all by yourself?" He asked as I took a step back. "Just getting some air." He took another step forward. I went to take another step back but I hit something hard and bumpy. I turned my head and cursed. I had back up into a tree.
  18. He put one of his head on the tree next to my head and leaned forward, "Are you scared?" He smirked, "you shouldn't be. I'm not going to hurt you." I felt the air around me thicken in a layer of what felt colder then ice. I was full of terror and fear. I was in the middle of the woods at night with a drunk guy twice my size. :I have to go now," I tried taking a step forward but he put his other hand on my stomach and pushed me back against the tree. "Don't leave so soon," "My friends are waiting for me," I replied avoiding eye contact. "I'm sure they can wait a few minutes." He whispered and kissed my neck. "Get off of me!" I tried pushing him off but he was stronger and pinned my arms above my head. "A feisty one," He chuckled. "Let me go!" I yelled. My vision began to blur and my mind was spinning. "Greg, let her go." I heard another voice. The guy holding me, Greg, turned around. "What are you doing here?" He asked the other voice. "The question is: What are YOU doing here? and with her?" I couldn't see who it was, but I needed to get out of here. "Help me!" I yelled loudly. Greg snapped around and grabbed my face tightly, causing me to flinch in pain. "Shut up!" I heard a growl and Greg let go of me, yelling in pain. I fell to the ground, landing on my hands and knee's. My vision was getting blurrier by the second and my hearing was cutting in and out. My mind was shutting down one me. I squeezed my eyes shut tightly, trying to regain control. I felt myself getting picked up in someones arms and I opened my eyes. The face was blurry at first. "Jace?" I whispered. I saw his mouth move but I heard nothing. A few seconds later I blacked out.
