  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. Okay, so this is my like third attempt. I guess it didn't save or whatever it was supposed to do. FIRST OFF; That lovely picture up in the left corner is April Gale, (The ghost I guess I should put it) and who made it? Drumroll please... xxblutixx! Isn't it amazing! I'd say it's freaking awesome. Well done, xxblutixx. You're truly amazing. Thanks so much for taking the time to make it, even if it were for fun.
  2. You stare at Jay, wondering if this is some joke. "Uh, why?" You stall. She smiles at your attempt. "I just want to know if it's true or not." You think about that. Who is "everybody" and just how much "everybodies" is that? "Okay," you agree, not seeing the big deal of this. You reach under your mattress, until you come across the familiar feeling of the chains under your fingertips. You pull it up, and you take it in both of your hands, showing Jay. "You've got some major balls to be wearing that thing!" You give her a look, and you chew on your lip. When Jay starts to reach for the necklace, you pull your hand back. "No, don't touch it," You say before acknowledging what you are actually saying. She gives you a weird look, but quickly wipes it off, shrugging. "Okay, it's not that important to me anyways," She tells you, and put it in your front pants pocket. "Sorry, it's just weird if someone else touches it. You know?" She nods, though you know she probably doesn't know. "Why do you keep it?" She asks, her voice low. You frown, and shrug. "I don't know. I just don't want anyone else to have it." Only after the words flow from your mouth do you realize how it sounded. "But, you must be hungry, or at least a bit curious of where everyone is. How about I show you around?" You quickly change the subject and add a smile to your face. Jay returns the smile, all while shaking her head. "I want to meet this Nyxus friend of yours." She says, as you lead her out of your bedroom. "Have fun with that. Chances are she's already skipped out." You tell her, thinking about what Raven had told her. "That Nakia friend of yours, she get jealous easily?" You take this into thought. "Only sometimes," You say almost truthfully. "Why?" Jay stays silent for a moment, shrugs and says, "Just wondering." You give her a long look before replying with, "I think you guys will get along great." Jay smirks, and keeps looking ahead. "So, you know I can't actually stay here until it's okay with Raven, right?" You sigh, rolling your eyes. "I don't even want to talk about her right now," you reply. She holds her hands up and makes a face as if to say, 'oops'. "You know," she starts. "Maybe making Maeve leave is a good thing." "But, killing her isn't. It's inhumane." Jay laughs, edgy. "You forget the part where none of us are human." You ignore her comment and open up Nakia's door. She's laying on her bed with a bag of Doritos on her stomach while she had her right arm around Abel. She's facing her T.V watching what looks like the cartoon Adventure Time. "Who dares enter my lair without permission?" She says in a raspy deep voice. She sniffs the air, before looking at the both of you. She barely glances at you, while her eyes stray to Jay. "I thought I smelt a vampire." She gestures for you two to sit down. You choose the free space on her bed, while Jay chooses a beanbag. "So, Jay," Nakia starts, not taking her green eyes off of her T.V. "What brings you here?" Jay shrugs, sitting upright and alert, unlike you. "Oh, you know.." She pauses. "Healing. Business. Boys. Hot boys. Yeah, mostly hot boys." Nakia laughs, and gets up to put Abel in her crib, but something was off. "Wait," You say, interrupting which of the two girls who were about to talk. "You said business. What kind?" "The kind of business that involves you and whoever else." Jay is being unusually indirect. "Uh-huh," You say, waiting for her to go on. When she doesn't, Nakia says, "Usually when ___________ says, 'Uh huh' in that sarcastic tone of voice, it usually means she's waiting for you to tell her." Jay flashes a teethy smile. "Believe me, I know. Anyways, what I mean is, it's been getting around that there's a possible war about to break out."
  3. You blink. "Well, no duh-," You begin but Jay cuts you off. "No, you don't understand. If words going around, chances are this is going to happen. This is bigger than what happened between your family and mine. This is involving everyone. Everyone, _____________. It's not going to be pretty. Courts and clans are already teaming up." Your stomach turns. "How do you know all of this?" "I'm the Queen of my kind now, I know everything. Has Raven been notified yet? I'm sure she has. Have you all started planning? What about weapons? Powers? In estimation, how many creatures are living here? Could you tell me all of-," "SLOW DOWN." You interrupt Jay's questions. Beside you, Nakia stays quiet. "You need to tell me everything you know," You hold her gaze. "I know apparently you started this." Her words aren't meant to be harsh but they are. "How?" "The necklace. You put it on and it must have sparked something." "But, that's not fair. I was mind-tricked." Jay rolls her eyes. "Nyxus' don't play fair, __________. I swear, they teach you nothing here." You give her a tiny glare. "So, what are we supposed to do?" You ignore her comment. "Fight?" She says, as if it's the most obvious thing ever. "No, there's obviously something deeper to this. I can feel it. A war can't be started just because of a stupid necklace," Nakia finally speaks up and you two stare at her. "A magical necklace," Jay reminds her. You nod. "Nakia's right. There's more to the story. And I bet I know exactly who knows." "Who?" They both ask in unison. You hesitate before answering. "Maeve." "There's no way you're going to get the chance to talk to her. She already packed and left," Nakia says. Your shoulders slump before you bolt upright again. "Ohmygod!" You exclaim. "I know how to find her! Or maybe Ameer.." Nakia's jaw drops. "What, that place they took you in the woods? C'mon, __________. You're smarter than that." Jay looks at both of you with wide eyes full of disbelief. "They took to the woods? What woods? Why?" "No, no. Guys, it makes sense. Maeve know's everything. Trust me. How could she not? And Ameer is a knight of the Night Court. He obviously know's just as much." "Well, you're not going. Besides, it's storming. We don't need another episode with that." "Guys! Hello? What the hell are you talking about?" Jay demands to be answered. You sigh, turning to her. "I'll explain later." "Anyways," Nakia continues. "What makes you think she'd tell you? You did rat her out after all." "Shut up," You say, frowning. "I may have told Raven things but I never wanted her to leave or get threatened." Nakia gives you a look of surprise, and what you think is disbelief. "Well," she says and you inhale a sharp breath. "It wasn't meant to sound like that," You're quick to explain. "Than what is it like?" Jay notices the tension between you two, and she retreats from the conversation. "All I'm saying, is that she could be a really great use to us right now," You explain. Nakia nods, her eyes narrowed. "I'm sure she would be." You stand up, suddenly flustered. "What is your problem, Nakia?" She shakes her head with a sarcastic look on her face. "Nothing. I'm not so sure I'm the one who has a problem." "Oo-kay," Jay says, interrupting your reply. "I think we're just gonna go. Nice seeing you Jae." She waves, as you both walk out of the room. Once you're out of hearing, Jay bursts. "What the hell was that all about?" You shrug. "She thinks I like Maeve more than her," is all you say, though you know there's more to it. "So, your friend, Maeve, where would she be?" You shrug. "Well, if I'm lucky, I'll catch her on her way out of here. Or somewhere in the forest." "Sounds lame," Jay replies. "So, you expect me to walk with you all the way out to the forest, in the pouring rain." She doesn't make it a question, and you don't answer, knowing there's going to be more. "And rain plus dirt equals mud, and mud plus rain equals puddles, and puddle equal fun. Alright, let's go!" She grabs onto your hand before you can object. "No, no. Wait, I wasn't saying we had to go now. Let me check around first. I'm sure she's still here somewhere.." Jay gives you a pout. Despite her intimidating look, she could be quite the child at times. "You just want to go so you can play in the rain," You accuse. She grins and winks. "Oh, you know me so well." "Yeah, sometimes a little too well," You joke, while you teleport up to your room. You search your dresser drawers in search of her clothes. What you find are only your own. You search your closet, only coming up with the same result. "Huh, I guess she's already left.." "Rain time," Jay says in a low almost sing-song voice while she looks aimlessly up at the ceiling. You grin, and stand up. "Okay, okay."
  4. You grab of pair of baggy grey sweats and a loose gray sweater to match. You figure it's going to get cold out there. You change in the bathroom and when you come back out, Jay is still in the clothes she was wearing. "Ready?" You ask. "Always," she replies. She rushes out the door and sprints down the hallway. "That's not fair!" You scream after her. "You can't use that kind of speed!" You sprint after her, catching her just as she goes down the staircase leading down to the main floor. You race her down, your steps echoing off the walls. She slows down when she opens the door and you hurry down the last of the steps before you jump onto Jay's back. She lets out a scream, which earns you two a couple of stares from people running around, working. You wrap your arms loosely around her neck, but you cling onto her with your legs. She runs out the main entrance, and you're both pelted with rain. You scream at the feeling and Jay lets go of your legs, leaving you to stumble on the ground trying not to fall. "Catch me," She teases, before running off again. "Jay!" You scream after her, hesitating before running. The rain was falling loudly and thunder was booming every fifteen seconds or so. You catch a glimpse of Jay through the thick rain as she slips through the trees, and you're quick to follow. The trees provide a canopy, so the rain isn't so bad, but you're still being pelted. "Jay!" You yell over the roaring rain and thunder. "Hurry up, you slow poke!" You hear her yell. You run in the direction you heard her voice, but you still don't find her. "I'm not in the mood for games right now!" You were starting to get annoyed, and worried. When she doesn't reply, you yell at her again. "Jay! Come out, come out, wherever you are!" When she doesn't answer, you let out a frustrated growl. You turn around and start heading back the way you came, yelling for Jay here and there. "Over here!" She yells clearly. Your clothes are clinging to your skin at this point, and your hair is plastered to your head. Jay finally comes into view, looking just as soaked as you probably did. She was gazing down at the ground, standing very still. "What are you looking at?" You ask, moving closer. "I think I just found your friend," she whispers. An uneasy feeling settles in your stomach, and you hurry up beside her. There's a pale figure lying on the ground, her eyes are wide open, exposing her eyes which were still a vibrant blue. She had a thick coat of blood staining the lower abdomen of her dress. Her pale lips were stained red, and her hair was coated with mud. You turn away from Maeve, willing yourself not to freak out, or cry. "Oh hell," Jay whispers, turning to you. "Just breathe, ___________." She tells you, and you squeeze your eyes shut. Your friend was dead because of you. "It wasn't supposed to go this far!" You almost yell, turning to Jay. She looks taken back, but doesn't say anything. "Jesus! Do you know what's gonna happen now? Do you know what she told me?" You put a hand to your forehead and begin to pace. "Listen, I know you're upset. But, like you said, she was working for the other side. It's for the best." You glare at your best friend. "The best? A Nyxus has died and you say it's for the 'best'?" She barely blinks. "It's getting dark," Her voice doesn't hold any sympathy anymore. "We should head back."
  5. You and Jay don't say one word until you're both in dry clothes, with towels wrapped around your heads. You're both sitting on your bed, when there's a knock on your door. "Come in!" You yell, and in comes Alex. "Raven asked me to tell everyone there's supposed to be a really big storm tonight. I'm sure everything's going to be okay, but she seems.. off. Paranoid." His blonde hair is slightly messy, as if he hadn't had the time or patience to try to tame it. "Good," The word slips out of your mouth before you can hold it in. He doesn't say anything, though he does give you a questioning look. "Hey, Alex," Jay chimes in and he gives her a smile. "Hello," He nods. "How long you here for?" She shrugs. "Oh, a couple days. Maybe a week. A month.. A year.. or.. the rest of my life." You give her a grin. "Kidding, of course." Your grin falls. Even after seeing Maeve all... Dead, she never fails to make you smile. "So, just wanted to let you guys know. It was great seeing you, Jay." Alex walks out, and Jay gives out a little sigh. "That boy is mighty fine," she says, and you nudge her. "I'm hungry. Let's go to the cafeteria. Where there are more boys. I mean, food. More food." She winks at you. "Uh-huh," You say rolling your eyes. Nevertheless you get up and head to the bathroom. You grab your brush, and Renee's brush. You use Renee's brush to brush your own hair, and you throw your brush to Jay. When you two are finished, you grab her hand and teleport down to the cafeteria. The first thing you do is look around, to find any empty tables, or anyone you found familiar to sit with. You find an empty table before any of your friends, so you head up and grab some food. On your way to the table, Jay, who appears to be obviously staring at someone, whacks your stomach. "Ohmygod! Look at him!" She motions over with her head over to a table where someone you don't recognize is sitting. His hair is a pale blue, with half of it shaved off. "Talk about sexy!" She says with a grin. You roll your eyes and shake your head. "Please, don't," You joke and she laughs, sitting across from you. "What? You think I don't have a shot with him?" You smirk and shrug. "I just don't think it'd last very long." She lets her jaw drop in amusement and tilts her head. "Is that so? Well, in that case, I'll be right back." She gets up and heads to his table. She says something to him and he looks up, giving her a lazy smile. She returns it and gestures over to me, and he looks over. His features are sharp, and you can see now his eyes are a pale white-ish color. "Sure," you hear him say as they get up and walk your way. They both sit down across from you. "Emory, this is ____________. ____________, this is Emory," Jays eyes hold excitement and amusement. "Nice to meet you," You hold out your hand and he takes it. "So," Jay clears her throat. "What's your gift?" He raises his eyebrows. "Uh, well I'm a elemental. I guess that's all there is to it." "Water, fire, earth, or air?" You ask, suddenly curious. "Air," He's quick to answer. You nod. "Wow, interesting," Jay says and you have to clamp your mouth shut to keep from laughing. "Isn't it, ____________? You're an elemental too," she continues. You nod, still trying not to laugh. "Yep," you squeak out. You shove food in your mouth before she can say anything else to you. They make small talk back and forth until you're done. "Well, I hate to leave to two alone, but I have no intention of spending the night in here," You say standing up. "Okay, bye," Jay barely glances at you. "Actually, I've gotta go, but I'll talk to you later?" Emory says, directly to Jay. "Oh, yeah, sure. I'll be here for a while," She flashes him a toothy grin as you both walk away. As we're heading out the doors, she winks and you and says, "And that's how you do that."
  6. "So, whatcha wanna do now?" You ask, popping your knuckles. "Hm, what is there to do?" You shrug. "Not a lot, actually. I mean we can watch movies, play video games.." "What kind of movies?" You smiles and say, "Whatever Netflix has to offer." Her eyes light up and she grabs your hand, racing up to your room. You teleport while she's dragging you. Once you both materialize into your room, she seems slow to react and runs to both into the wall. "Ow, Jay!" You yell, laughing. "Ow yourself, jerk," she replies, pushing you and holding her forehead. "God, give me a warning next time." You only end up laughing harder. "You crack me up, kid." You lay on your bed, and start to flip through the movies on Netflix. "Okay, so what do you want to watch?" Jay takes the remote from your hand and when you look at her, all she does is smirk. "Excuse the crap out of you," You tease, making her laugh. While she's looking, you start to get to thinking. "Jay?" "Yeah, kid?" You let out a sigh. "What's the real reason why this war is starting?" She doesn't answer for a couple of seconds, so you look up at her. She has that look on her face, the one you can describe as her thinking face. "I think that a lot of people are upset, and that they want things to be justified, brought back to the way it was. Things are out of whack, you know? The 'Order of Things', aren't so in order." This makes you laugh a little. "Things are just so complicated. I never meant for things to happen, the way they did." She gives you a smile. "Nobody does. And that's just life. You have to accept the things that swing your way. Because you remember what your-uh-adoptive mom used to say?" You smile a little. "Everything happens for a reason, good or bad. Yeah, I remember." "Exactly, and nobody likes that, but we just have to accept what is and what happens. Now, if we're done talking here, I'd like to watch a movie." She winks and you stick your tongue out at her. "What are we watching anyways?" You are curious. "Madea's Witness Protection." You nod, understanding this was supposed to be a funny movie. Ten minutes into the movie you two are already cracking up, laughing, hitting each other whenever someone says something hilarious, and joking about the actors. Everything feels great with Jay back, but you know it would be even better if Nakia were here. Why was she so jealous of Maeve? Had she been the one to kill her? You figure it is best not to go ask her anytime soon, in case she hadn't. Soon enough the end of the movie comes, and you and Jay are exhausted. You both adjust pillows and make sure you both have an equal amount of blankets, before saying goodnight to each other. You lie in bed for several minutes, trying to get the image of Maeve lying dead on the muddy ground. Somehow, you manage to fall asleep because the next thing you know, a cold wet hand is shaking you awake. You groan, opening your eyes to meet wide golden ones. "Get up, we have to go," She whispers and you shoot back, bumping into Jay who stirs. "What the-," You start off loudly, when she shushes you. "Be quiet, please," Her voice is a plea. She places her right hand on your arms and starts to drag you out of your bed. Still not comprehending, you frown and resist. "Stop it. What are you doing? Stop." Her whole body is soaked, her hair looking like a dark red color in the lack of light. Outside, you could hear the thunder rumbling. She throws your shoes at you, and gestures for you to put them on. You do cautiously, and look back at Jay's body. She has her back to you still, and her hair is covering a good portion of her face. Her stomach rises and falls at a slow, steady rhythm, letting you know that she's still asleep. "What's going on? Why are you here?" You whisper to Colette. She appears anxious, not herself. "Maeve's dead," is all she says. "I know that-," You start, but you're interrupted by the sound of a blaring siren. In seconds, Jay is sitting up straight in your bed, looking at the two of you and Colette has a grip on your arm and starts to drag you out of the room. Multiple people are out of their rooms, not quite alert yet with what was going on. All the lights were out still, yet there were multiple red blinking lights. You could hear people talking about an intruder, and that's when it hits you. You start to yank back, squirming to get out of Colettes agonizingly burning grip. "No," You hiss at her. "I can't go with you." "Please, child, don't make this difficult for me." She's basically sprinting, and you hold back hoping to slow her down long enough. She freezes, turns around and gives you a small smile. There is a tingling warmth at the base of your forehead and you smile back at her, not sure what her intentions were anymore. All you know is that you need to follow her, listen to her every command. You feel your legs start to move, and the voices you once heard yelling begin to sound distant. The world was literally moving in slow motion, and soon you're being pelted by cold little pebbles.
  7. Suddenly you're snapped out of the trance. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" You shriek, attempting to wipe your now wet hair out of your face. "Excuse me, for knowing what I need to do to get out of those situations," She shoots back, still running and still gripping your wrist. "Do you care to explain why you just did that?" You were practically shouting. She turns around and smacks you. "Calm down," Her voice is no longer playful, it's low and serious. "Your little teammates in there killed someone of a near extinct race. Let alone someone on our side. The Missus says it's time for you to know what she has to offer." and she's walking again, two feet in front of the other, stomping in the mud. "Well, 'the Missus' can give up now, because my home is back there. Now let go of me, and go hide. Because if you take me, they will go looking for me. I will find my way out of this," You keep your voice steady, convincing. Colette looks at you with wide eyes and a smirk, and she pushes you up against a nearby tree making you gasp. "You don't know a thing about where you belong. You're just a kid, blind in the dark just as everyone else. We tried to give you the signs, but you're too ignorant to pay attention. Now, please, don't make this hard, I fear harming you to get you to cooperate will be a big mistake." Her eyes are burning bright in the darkness, and she slowly lets her grip off and starts pulling you again. 'Okay, think,' you try to convince yourself to find a way to get out of here. You close your eyes, and try to feel the tingle you've come so accustom to feeling. But when you open your eyes, you're still looking at Colette. "Don't bother," she says, as if she knew what you were trying to do. "We've had this place protected. You can't use any of your powers unless stated otherwise." You scoff, trying to pick up someone's thoughts. "You're kidding," You say, knowing she's really not. "How does that even work?" Frustrated by not being able to find your way out of here, and not knowing why you were being punished for this. "Where are you taking me?" When she doesn't answer again, you start to get more agitated. "Colette! Stop with the games and just answer me!" "Do not lose your patience with me, you will find out soon enough." "Look, I wasn't the one who killed Maeve. You know that. I never wanted this for her. So, why don't you just please let me go back?" "This is not just about Maeve." You shiver, trying to make sense of what that means. "What else is this about?" Colettes eyes burn brighter, and she moves branches out of her way. "You'll find out soon enough." You both walk a while in silence, before you start talking again. "You know you can't keep me captive wherever we're going. If this war is going to work out the way you want it, you're going to have to let me go. You know what side I'm choosing, so-," "You don't know anything about what side you want to choose. We know we can't keep you captive, that's not the plan. The plan is to make you see the truth." "The truth about what?" She stops walking and grabs you by the arm again. "I would absolutely love to tell you, really, but I could lose my position." She gives you a small push forward, and you start to hear the sound of rushing water, over the rain. "What are you doing?" You try to step backwards, but she holds you firmly in your place. "I'm truly sorry, dear. But, we can't risk you knowing your way out. Much less anyone else." She gives you a shove before you can reply and you're free falling. You let out a scream before you're enveloped by numbing coldness and pin needles poking into your body from every direction.
  8. You sit upright, coughing and spewing water from your mouth. A hand is placed on your back, and you hear a soothing voice telling you to breathe. You feel a plush blanket under your fingertips and for a moment you think everything that had happened was a dream. But these are not your blankets, and this is not your bedroom. You're in a large room, with black and white checkered tiles on the floor, and the walls are a pale yellow. You slowly look beside you to see a woman with long blonde hair staring at you, quite compassionately. "Alright, easy there. See? You're okay," She speaks with a soft voice, with gentle green eyes to match. Her skin is pale, and she is very slim. "Who-. Where am-," You try to speak but she shushes you. "My name is Emma. Can you tell me all of what you remember?" She speaks to you as if you were a child. "Colette broke in, mind tricked me to follow her and she pushed me into.. Water?" Your voice is raspy and cracking. "Here," Emma says, handing you water. "This should help." You chug it, instantly feeling the burning in your throat fade. Your skin feels dry and rough, and your clothes are crumpled and hard. "Are you feeling up for taking a walk? Maybe get you cleaned up, into fresh clothes?" You frown. "I don't understand," You reply, stupidly. She smiles warmly at you, nodding. "You've got a busy day for you today, it's better if you choose to get ready now. I'll send for Colette to show you to your room." Emma walks away, to a desk to be exact and picks up a phone dialing a number. Her voice is quiet as she speaks to whoever it was. You look around the large room, seeing as you are really the only one in here, except for two or three other people. No one in this room looks familiar to you, not even Emma. She comes back, never letting her smile falter. "Alright hon, Colette will be down here in a minute. Now, I have to ask, is there any aching in your joints? Do you have a headache?" You shake your head, no. "Okay, good," she breathes out, and has you stand up. "Now, you might be stiff for a while, it happens to everyone. Make sure you drink a lot of water, we wouldn't want you to get dehydrated. Especially now, more than ever." She let's out a laugh and you stand there awkwardly. She clears her throat. "Other than that, you should be fine." "So, you're the healer around here?" You ask, with eyebrows raised. She nods. "In fact, I am. I'm not the only one here though." Her attention turns to a short stocky girl with black hair, who appears to be standing over someone laying in one of the infirmary beds. "That's Lacey." Emma turns to another girl, who had blonde hair as well, and seems to be just as tall as Emma. "That's Grace. And there's just one more.." Across the room, sitting at the desk was a boy, well, a man really, with short brown hair, glasses, and a thin beard. He seems to be sorting through papers, for no real reason. "That's Jack." All four of these people have two things in common, as far as you know; they were all healers, and all in their early twenties. "Finally you're up. For a while there I feared you wouldn't make it." You whip around to greet Colette. "What the hell is wrong with you?" You blurt out. She holds up her hands, and makes a face. "Calm yourself, Child. If you come with me, I will explain to you." You frown, not wanting to go anywhere but home. Speaking of home.. You close your eyes and try to teleport, but again when you open your eyes, Colettes smiling at you. "Didn't I tell you last night? You can't use your powers unless you're instructed to." You glare at her, wanting to smack that smile off of her face. "Take me home," You demand. "Be patient," She says with a small laugh. "You'll have the choice of going home soon enough. Just come with me." You follow her closely, as she walks out of the infirmary and down a plain white hall to an elevator. "This is basically what you would call the basement of the building. It has the infirmary, and the generator. You and I are going up to your room. You, of course, have your own room, and bathroom." "Why?" You ask, and Colette presses a the number "12" on the elevator. "Wait, why are we going all the way up? How big is this-," She huffs out a sigh, interrupting you. "Aren't you just full of questions. Everyone gets their own room, yours just happens to take up a whole floor." "Colette, please just tell me why I'm here," You plead, wanting nothing more than to just be normal again. Everything was simpler back then. But, this is who you were meant to be, you can't go back. Colette doesn't reply, she just watches the numbers on the elevator count up to twelve. It dings, and the metal doors slide open, revealing a large room. The floors were grey marble, which shines in the light coming from the large window, which was right beside a queen sized bed, that had no underneath. The outlining was padded, resembling the texture and look, as a padded cell. The actual bed was covered with plain white blanket. At the foot of the bed is a footrest, and the front of the bed is a large mirror. Under the bed and footrest lies a large black furry rug. To the right of the bed, sitting underneath the window is a white padded chair, and a lamp with a white lampshade. Needless to say, you were breathless. "The bathroom is over there, behind that door. There's a lock on the door, and there aren't any windows, so you get your fair share of privacy." You stare at the black door, and head towards it. Behind the door reveals a walk in shower, with grey curtains covering the inside. Beside it, lies a white bathtub. The toilet is on the opposite side of the room, and beside it is a grey, granite covered sink and faucet. The walls and floor are small black tiles, and behind the now opened door lies a fairly tall, and large mirror. "This room is amazing," You admit, turning back to Colette. "I know," She says. "Oh! Your closet," she exclaims and starts to pull you out back in the bedroom. There's a white door, across from the bed, and she opens it, walking into a room almost as large as the bathroom. It was full of clothes, and shoes, all your style, and size. "How did you guys-," you begin to ask but Colette holds up her hand. "It'll all be explained later. For now, go get cleaned up. There's a button on the wall you can push when you're done. It calls to the desk down on the main floor. Freya's going to answer the phone, tell her you're ready for me to come back up. And I'll let you know what happens from there." She smiles, as if you ask if you got it. You nod, still slightly confused. "Uh, sure, yeah," You say, looking around the room again. "Okay, towels are in the cabinet in your closet." "Why not in the bathroom?" You ask. She shrugs, and presses the down button on the elevator.
  9. After your shower, you change into some comfortable looking clothes, and take the time to look through the room. See if there was anything valuable, or interesting. Unfortunately, you find nothing, except for writing utensils and empty notebooks. You plop down on your bed, and stare up at the ceiling. The bed was comfortable, more than that. It felt as if you were laying on clouds. You got to thinking, and the more you thought, the more you were anxious to see what Colette wanted, so you hop up and head to the elevator. Beside the elevator, as Colette had said there would be, was a metal square, with a buzzer in the high left side, and a speaker on the right. "Hello, __________. This is Freya. Are you ready for Colette?" A silky voice, almost melodic, says through the speakers. You can identify it as a female. "Uh, yeah. That'd be great," You speak back, not sure if she could hear you or not. "Alright, she's on her way up." You sit back on your bed, frowning. These people are nice here, so far. You have, after all, only met two people here by far. Colette doesn't count. The elevator dinged, and in walks Colette, looking no different than before. She takes one look at you and shakes her head. "Oh, no. No, no. This is very wrong." She goes to the closet, pulls out a white skirt, that has purple floral patterns over it. Next, she takes out a white shirt with sleeves going above your elbows and the front of the shirt is low cut. "Here," she hands you the two items. "Now, go into the bathroom and change. Make sure the shirt is tucked under the skirt, and when you come back out we'll head down." "Why do I have to look so formal? Is there someone I'm meeting?" Colette gives you a smile. "Why of course, dear. Now, hurry. The Missus get's so impatient at times." You freeze at the name, and frown at Colette. Nevertheless, you head to the bathroom and change rather quickly. This was the moment you've been waiting for, for a while. You just never thought it would have to take all this to happen. You examine yourself in the mirror, feeling as if you were almost too dressed up. Jay would definitely pay to see you in this. You almost laugh at the thought. Thinking about Jay got you to thinking about last night, how Colette had just up and snatched you out of the room before Jay could even blink. You have no idea if they knew where to find you, or if they were even trying to find you. Well, of course they were trying to find you. Jay, Nakia and {___________} would make sure of it. Colette knocks on the door. "Are you ready yet?" You let out a sigh and open the door. "Yeah, I'm ready," You tell her, soothing out your clothes. She hands you a pair of white flats. "Here, these go well with that outfit." You slip the shoes on, and cross your arms. "Wow, you look rather lovely," Colette has a smile on her face, that makes her even more beautiful than she already is. You both enter the elevator, and you start to get nervous. Colette presses the L, for Lobby and you give her a look. "Is this a hotel?" You ask. She smirks, but doesn't say anything. "It is! Isn't it?" She shushes you, and you raise your eyebrows. "You could at least tell me yes or no, but I know I'm right," You say to her, in a know it all voice. This causes her to chuckle a bit, and she shakes her head. "You haven't the slightest clue, Child," She says and you huff out a sigh. You both wait in silence, as the elevator slowly continues down to the Lobby. It seems like an eternity has passed when the elevator dings and the doors open. You walk out into a large room, bigger than yours upstairs, that was full of desks, and people. The floors are a gold/beige color, marble as well, with in-descriptive designs inscribed into it. The walls are lined with red curtains, and the occasional painting. There are two staircases, one leading to the left and right, both ending at an elevator. As you and Colette walk further into the lobby, very few people even take a glance at you, which you're thankful for. But, just because they don't pay attention to you, doesn't mean that you aren't paying attention to them. Some of the people in this room look normal, just like you, and some you can identify as vampires, because of the color of their eyes when they look up or at someone else. You can tell there are multiple Nyxus' as well.
  10. You feel Colette place her hand on your back and guide you towards a pair of black double doors. "It's right through here," she tells you and you nod. Your heart feels as if it were about to jump out of your chest and your breathing was starting to quicken. What was on the otherside of these doors? Better yet, who? Well, you figured the 'Missus' was on the otherside. But, who was she really? What did she really want with you? "___________? Are you alright? You're turning very pale," Colettes voice brings you out of your thoughts. You look at her and nod. "I'm fine," you reassure her. She opens both doors and pulls you through quickly before shutting them before you can even think about running back out. The room you are in is darkly lit, with large crystal looking purple glass for a light. Red and black chairs are set together in one corner, with three steps leading to them. A black and white couch is placed on the ground a couple of feet to the left of the chairs. Yellow lamps are placed throughout the room, making the beige walls look more yellow than a light brown. Blue and black curtains cover the only window in the room, making it so dark. Faint voices are heard from the corner, where the red chairs are. How had you not noticed them before? Ameer is sitting facing you, and across from him, with their back facing you is a figure in a black cloak. The Missus? "Missus, I've brought her as instructed," Colettes voice is soft, with less emotion than she shows when she's speaking to you. Ameer looks up at you in surprise, and you frown, not sure what to think of his presence. "You look-," he begins when the Missus stands up and holds her hand out to him. She turns to you and Colette and in the dimly lit room you can't make out anything except for her figure. "__________, it is such an honor meeting you after so many years." Her voice is soft, like Colettes. Except hers has so much more volume in it, dedication. Like she planned out what to say. Colette bows beside you and you shift uncomfortably, yet you don't look away from her. "What do you mean 'after so many years'?" You ask, unsure if you should speak or not. She gives out a small chuckle. Her voice was definitely deeper than it was when you had last encountered her. "Darling, do you have an idea of who I could be?" You feel as if she's playing with you, stalling you. "No clue. Care to show me?" You stare back at Ameer, whose face is blank and pale, though his eyes are wide. You feel Colette slip her hand into yours and squeeze it. "Please, come sit and I'll show you everything you need to know," the woman says and gestures to the seat by Ameer, the one across from where she was sitting. You slowly walk over there, forcing Colette to let go of you. When you're all sitting and comfortable, the Missus begins to speak again. "Are you aware of your family history?" You're caught off guard by the question, but you answer honestly. "Somewhat, my mother died just after I was born, she had been killed by Janise. Like most of the rest of the woman in my family." The Missus let's out a chuckle. "Of course they would tell you that. However, that is not the truth." You blink, taken back. "What are you saying? That my mother wasn't killed by Janise?" You can see the woman begin to smile faintly in front of you. Her hands reach up to the hood of her cloak, and she pulls it down. For a moment you feel as if you're looking in front of a mirror. This woman in front of you has the same color of hair as you, her bone structure is the same. Her nose, and lips are shaped the same and her eyes shine brightly. "I'm saying your mother wasn't killed at all." Your body tenses up, you can't move, or speak or even think straight. You stare at Ameer first, and than to Colette. Neither of them look at you, nor say anything. Although it was all starting to make sense, you couldn't believe what your eyes and brain was telling you. "I don't know what game you're playing at, but this is taking it too far." You speak as if your lungs are full of water again. You're having trouble breathing. It feels like someone set a ton of bricks on your body. The woman in front of you gives you a look of sympathy, but it soon passes. "I know this is hard for you to understand and I'm willing to explain it to you, but what I'm telling you is the most truthful thing I've ever told anyone. You are my daughter, I can promise you that."
