Paranormal Love (part 35)

Hi guys, welcome to part 35 of my Paranormal Love series. All I can say is that this part is really dramatic. I'm not saying anything else, so you'll just have to keep reading!

Recap: After thinking about all the fun stuff that you did with Chris, Bryan, Ethan, and Nick, you remember that you haven't seen Jace in a while. You know what you have to do.

  1. You had to see Jace, even if it was just for a little while. You decided you'll have to sneak out. What the guys don't know won't hurt them, right? You came up with a plan to see Jace.
  2. The next night at around 3 in the morning, you send a text message to Jace. "Hopefully he will reply." you think as you write: "Hey, u awake?" Not too long after you write that text, your phone buzzes with Jace's reply: "_____!? I missed you! Yeah I'm awake. So what's up?" You smile "Aww, he really did miss me." you think. You write back: "Nothing. I just want to see you. Do you think you can meet me in the forest near the mansion, y'know, near the area with the purple flowers?" You picked that loaction because it's fairly far from the mansion but not so far that you get lost. Jace also knows where that is. Jace replies: "Yeah. I can do that. I have access to teleporting magic. So see you in about 15?" You write back: "Sounds like a plan." You put on a pair of skinny jeans and black high tops. You also put on your black hoodie over your black t-shirt. You open your door and see that all the lights are off in the house. You quietly tiptoe downstairs and out the front door, locking it behind you. You put the key in your pocket and begin to walk through the forest.
  3. The night air is chilly, you walk fast hoping to warm up. The moon is almost completely hidden by clouds and there's not a star in sight. You keep walking until you get to the part of the forest with the purple flowers. You look around and see a tall shadow with broad shoulders. His glowing amber eyes cut through the night like a knife. "Hey, ____!" you hear Jace's voice say. "Hey, Jace!" you say back and rush over to him. You nearly tackle him in a hug. You've missed his muscular build. Of course the rest of the guys have muscular builds, but it's just not the same. Jace hugs you back tighter. The cold night air wasn't bugging you anymore, you never wanted to let go.
  4. "So, ____." Jace says, "Not that I'm not psyched to see you 'cause I am, but what made you want to come see me?" "Remember that promise I made to you?" you ask. "And besides, why would I want to lose contact with someone as awesome and hot as you?" Jace smiles. "Aw, stop it." he says. "Well it's true." you reply. You and Jace hug and talk for a while when a huge crash of lightning startles you. It abruptly starts raining HARD. You and Jace are already soaked from the rain, but take shelter under a big pine tree. Jace looks cute even with wet hair, and his eyes are as bright as ever. He's just as hot as you remember, if not- hotter. You and Jace look at each other and smile.
  5. Jace brushes his coal black hair out of his eyes. "The weather has been pretty insane lately." Jace says. "No kidding!" you reply. Jace's eyes seem to get brighter, it's very intriguing. Your faces are just a few inches apart and he already has his arms around you. "Just kiss him!" your brain tells you. You hesitate. "DO IT!" your brain screams at you. You give in and kiss Jace. He seems a little surprised at first, but he relaxes instantly and kisses you back. You've missed this. There was something romantic about kissing in the rain. Plus there was always that rush of adrenaline you get when you were with Jace. You weren't supposed to be doing this... but you were anyway. It felt a bit wrong, but it felt more right than wrong.
  6. ***Chris' P.O.V.*** I woke up in the middle of the night. A voice inside me was telling me I needed to check on ____. I didn't think twice, I got up and went to ____'s room. A feeling of panic crept into me when I saw that she wasn't there. I used my psychic ability to try and find where she was. It told me that she wasn't in the house and I kept seeing trees. She was in the forest. I had no idea what she's doing out there, but I was going to find out. I threw on a pair of jeans and a hoodie and rushed out of the door. It was really dark and rainy outside. I changed into a vampire so I could see better and move faster.
  7. ***Your P.O.V.*** You're still kissing Jace, and all your attention is completely drawn to him, until a male voice snaps you back into reality. "____?!" You break the kiss and turn around to see a glowing pair of pale blue eyes. Lightning flashes through the sky, and you get a glimpse of Chris' shocked, hurt, and angry facial expression. He glares at Jace. "And what the hell do you think you're doing with ____, Jason?" Chris says, anger rising in his voice.
  8. ***Chris' P.O.V.*** ____ was kissing my stepbrother. The guy who had hurt me so badly in the past, and she was kissing him. If your heard a cracking noise, then that was my heart breaking. How long has this been going on? Why would she do this to me? She betrayed me. And Jace, oh... he was gonna get it.
  9. ***Jace's P.O.V.*** Chris. Dammit! He was the last person I wanted to see. I finally get some time with ____ and he just has to go and ruin it. What happened in the past is probably not fixable, so I just gave up on Chris. Screw Chris. I want ____! I was not about to lose her to him.
  10. ***Your P.O.V.*** Jace stands in front of you, as if protecting you from Chris. "What does it look like I'm doing with ____, dumba--?" he says in an annoyed tone. Chris narrows his eyes. "I know you haven't changed, Jace. You're trying to fool me, but you can't. I know you just want ____ for her powers." Chris says. Jace glares back at Chris. "You don't know that, Chris." he replies. "Only I know how I feel. I know that I love her, so stop trying to tell me how I feel!" "I've known you long enough to know that your f---ed up, Jace. You don't even know what love is. All you ever do is take advantage of people!" Chris says raising his voice. He looks at you. "And ____, I still care about you despite the fact that you really hurt me." You feel like crap for doing that to Chris, but you also know that he's falsely accusing Jace of being a bad person. You're unable to come up with a reply, so you hope the hurt look in your eyes gets the point across to Chris.
  11. "Hey, you leave ____ out of this! Just let her make her own desicions, Will ya?" Jace practically shouts. "No!" Chris shoots back. "You're taking advantage of her, if she decides to side with you and wipe out all the humans, she's going to regret it!" "It's not about that anymore, Chris!" Jace insists. "You think that just because I'm a demon means I can't love? Well your wrong! I'd do anything for ____!" he rants. You can see that his temper is flaring, he steps closer to Chris. Chris takes a step twords Jace, his eyes still narrow. "Well did you ever take into consideration that I love her too? Unlike you, I love her for her, not for her powers." Chris says through clenched teeth. And with that, Jace loses his cool. "STOP ACTING LIKE YOU KNOW EVERYTHING, CHRIS! YOU DON'T!" He yells. "You're just mad because I can see through your lies!" Chris retorts. They are now less than a foot away from each other. "JUST LEAVE ME AND ____ ALONE BEFORE I MAJORLY F--- YOU UP!" Jace shouts. "BRING IT ON! I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU!" Chris yells back.
  12. A blue glow forms around Jace. You realize that he's changing into his demon form. You've never seen him in his demon form before. The glow fades. Jace looks like himself still, he just has paler skin and black stripes on his neck that look like slashes. But the feature that stands out the most is his eyes- which are blood red and glowing. "Guys! Don't do this!" you blurt out. The guys ignore you. Your heart speeds up even faster when you see that Chris' eyes are completely black... he's giving his death stare, and there's not a whole hell of a lot you can do about it. Then you notice Jace's eyes change too- they were completely blood red. You guess that Jace also has the death stare power. You expected one of them to drop dead, but it didn't happen. They both must be immune to it.
  13. Jace was the first to throw a punch, Chris dodged it and threw one of his own, which Jace also dodged. They were very skilled fighters, dodging each other's attacks... until they both pulled out a knife at the exact same time. "GUYS! DON'T DO THIS!" you repeat, more urgently. Once again the guys ignore you completely. Your heart stops for a second when they stab each other at the same time.
