  1. Your family and Annie have been gone for almost a week now. You walk to potions with Hermoine, Ron, Harry, and Neville. When you get there, Professor Snape calls out for you. It terrifies you. You go up to is desk and say "y-yes professor?" He pulls a bottle out from under his desk and without looking at you he hands it to you and says "drink this." You ask why, and he responds "fine then, remain a mindless idiot forever. Well, more of one anyways." You drink it. Your head starts pounding. You grab your head, and Hermoine rushes up to you. She grabs your arms and yell at Snape "WHAT DID YOU GIVE HER?!" He says "it was a potion. For her memory loss? Remember?" Hermoine apologizes, and the memories start coming back slowly over a few days. Next thing you know, it's the day before people leave for Christmas. You ask Hermoine "you sure you want to leave?" She says "as much as I hate leaving you alone I have to." You hug her and go up to the dorms for bed. What do you think?
  2. You hapily find out that Draco will no be staying at the castle for Christmas. You had done an excellent job at protecting the Elder Wand, and you got even better at magic. Once Hermoine left for the train, you went up to the dormitory. She left her copy of "Hogwarts: A history" for you to read. You take the book and go sit in the common room to read. Ron invites you to go play Wizard's chess. Hermoine approaches you and says "My parents cancelled." You smile and hug her. You finish your game with Ron (you win), and then go out to the Quidditch field for fresh air. You throw a snowball at Hermoine. She screams, and throws one at you. Then, you hear 2 people laughing as you turn around and are hit in the face with a giant one. You scream and fall back. George runs up (so does Fred but George was faster) and says "we are so sorry we didn't mean to hit your face!" He gently brushes off whatever had not fallen off already. Fred says "we're really sorry." You look at the ground. You smile and say "no biggie." Fred says "George that's an evil look we have to RUN!" You yell out "PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" They fall to the ground. You make a snow pile and say "wingardium leviosa" and lift it over to them. You drop it and let them sit for a minute, then you take away the stiffness. You laugh and say "never throw a big one at me again!" They laugh. Eventually you could not feel your fingers anymore so you went inside. You could not warm them up. You even tried lighting up your wand and putting your hands near it. Nothing worked. It eventually went away. You go to sleep, and the next day is Christmas Eve. Everyone is excited, and the castle is decorated. Then, a question enters your mind. You say "Hermoine?" She says "yeah?" You say "according to Hogwarts: A Ahitory, only wizards and witches can see Hogwarts?" Hermoine says "yes." You continue "Annie never got a letter. How could she find it?" Hermoine looks at you and says "I'm not sure. Ask her." You agree, and you go to breakfast. After that, you spend most of the day looking for your wand. After dinner, you're too tired to do anything. You go right to bed and wake up on Christmas.
  3. When you wake up, you go down to the common room and see your friends. Everyone says Merry Christmas! Then, Neville says "________, I have a present for you!" Oh god. What did he do? He handed you a long, thin box. You open it up, and inside is your wand. You smile and take it out. You say "Neville, how did you-" He says "I found it the other day. I kind of slipped on it." You laugh and hug him and say "thank you so much!" He says "you've had a rough year, it's the least I could do." You smile. After about 10 minutes you say "I have to go to Dumbledore quick." Hermoine says "why?" You say "I have to return his wand." Hermoine follows you without asking.
  4. You reach Professor Dumbledore's office. He sees you and says "ah ______! Merry Christmas! What seems to be the problem?" You go up to his desk and say "Hello, Merry Christmas, and there's no problem. Actually there's a miracle. Neville found my wand!" He smiled and said "that's great! Do you still have the Elder Wand?" You nod and hold it out. He points at it with his wand and says "Expeliarmus!" The wand flies back to him. You say "thank you so much Professor for lending me your wand." He says "no problem at all. If you ever need it again just tell me." You agree and go back down to the common room. Ron asks "you give it back?" You say "I don't need it anymore. I can't wait to scare the crap out of Draco." Everyone laughs and you say "I'm serious. I'm going to plan it. Who wants in?" Harry and Ron raised their hands. Hermoine glared at them, and they put their hands down. Neville put up his hand reluctantly and said "I want to help." You smile and get some parchment, a quill, and ink. You start writing out a plan. It was going to take place the day after everyone gets back. It was a good plan.
  5. Once everyone got back, you started putting the plan into motion. You were glaring at Draco, giving him a death stare at any time possible. The next day, everything went as planned. You and Neville always stuck together because you never knew when he would bother you. It happened after Herbology. He was hiding, and he came out and said "Still no wand _______? That's a shame. I saw you got a new one. You pull out your wand and twirl it in your fingers. You say "Neville found it." Draco's grin falls a little then picks up again. "Longbottom? He would not find the snake on the Slytherin crest!" Neville looked offended but stayed where he was. He said "Petrificus Totalus" and instantly Draco became stiff. You smiled. You said "Wingardium Leviosa" and he lifted up. Neville called up "Expelliarmus!" and his wand fell down. He made a snow pile, and you brought Draco down. You put him down in the snow, still stiff. Then, you lift the snow pile onto him. He screams, but it is muffled by the snow. You both laugh, then after a few minutes, you release him. He yells "my father will hear about this!" You yell "and he'll find out you were bested by a couple of Gryffindors? You're not going to tell him that." Draco stares at you and says "this was your idea?" You smile and he says "this isn't the end. You haven't seen the last of Draco Malfoy." You say to Neville "If I'm going to see him again I'm going to need a bucket!" Neville laughs and Draco storms away. You smile at Neville and say "we did it!" He laughs and you both head up to lunch.
  6. Draco waits a couple months, then gets his revenge. He corners you on a stairway with Pansy Parkinson. Draco starts with "Expeliarmus!" Thankfully, he catches the wand this time. Then, Pansy says "PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" You go stiff. Draco lifts you up with Wingardium Leviosa, then they take the stiffness away and Draco says "FURNUNCULUS!" Your body becomes covered in boils. You are not let go for what feels like hours. By the end you are covered in bruises, cuts, boils, and scrapes. It hurt to move, but it also hurt to lie down or sit. You didn't know what to do. Then, someone exited their dorm room.
  7. You see Fred walking down the stairs from the boys dormitory. Thankfully, the lights are off. Fred hears someone moving and says "who's there?" You go silent. He turns on the light. You yell out "NO!" But, you were too late. He sees you covered in all of the injuries, and he runs up to you. He asks you "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU?!" You say "SHH! People are sleeping! And, Draco and Pansy attacked me. Revenge for when I attacked him with Neville I guess. But, they did this to me. It hurts to sit, lie down, and move." Fred thinks then says "I should take you to the Hospital Wing. You say "NO! That'll only make it worse. He'll get in trouble and he'll do it again!" Fred says "let me get George and a book. We'll figure this out." He runs upstairs and comes back with George. George says "WHAT THE HELL-" He is cut off by Fred's "SHH!" George whispers "what happened to you?!" Fred explains. George says "Episkey". You say "what the hell is that?" George says "calm down it's a healing spell. Instantly, your boils go bown. Youstill have the bruises and deep cuts and scraped, but mostly everything else was gone. You let out a sigh of relief. You say "thank you!" George said "hold your thanks. Sit in a chair." You sit. It hurts but it's not bad. You nod. He says "lie on the ground." You slowly do. It is fine. You nod again and he says "now say your thanks." You say thanks and go up to your dorm. Hermoine still isn't sleeping. You look at the clock and realize it's only 10:00. She says "WHERE WERE YOU?!" You say "calm down calm down I have an explanation!" She says "it better be good." You explain everything. Once you're done she says "_________?" You say "yes?" She says "turn out your pockets." You do, confused. She gasps. She says "this is bad. This is very very bad." You say "what?" She says "Draco still has your wand."
  8. Hermoine says "you need to go to Professor Dumbledore!" You say "I can't! He'll just do it again! You should have seen me when i walked in! I had boils and more cuts and scrapes and all of that stuff!" She says "Dumbledore won't let anything happen to you." You nod and say "I'll go tomorrow." You go to sleep and wake up early. It is 6:00. You decide to go up to Dumbledore. You get up there and yet again the door is open. He sees you and asks "why are you hear so early? What is the problem? And what in god's name happened to you?!" He obviously noticed the injuries. You say "Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson attacked me last night. They gave me boils, cuts, scrapes, bruises, and so many other types of injuries. Please you have to help me! Draco stole my wand!" Dumbledore sighs and goes to get the other wand. You say "I can't keep hiding a wand if I'm going to have to protect myself." Dumbledore says "unless you have proof Mr. Malfoy and Ms. Parkinson did this you must use a replacement until further notice." You take the wand, disarm him, and take the Elder Wand again. The joy died down. When Harry saw it he asked "Where's your wand?" You point to the Slytherin table and say "probably somewhere in their dormitory. Draco took it." Harry started to get up but you say "no Harry don't. I'm going to get him." He nods. In first period Draco starts taunting you. He says "hey __________! Missing something?" He flashes your wand around. You yell out "Professor Flitwick Draco has my wand!" He instantly passes it to one of his people and they hide it. He says "no I don't." When the teacher looks away, you decide to threaten Draco. You cast a shield around yourself so he can't disarm you. You say "Hey Draco! Ever heard of the Elder Wand?" He looks at you and says "what do you know about the Elder Wand?" You laugh and say "it's history, and location." He looks at you and says "alright. Then where is it?" You poke the shield. It's still there. You say "in my pocket." He looks at you in disbelief and laughs. He says "yeah right. A first year Hogwarts student has the all-mighty Elder Wand. You got me." You pull out the wand. He opens his mouth but can't say anything. Pansy says "that's a fake!" You levitate something, and she can tell it isn't. You put it away before you can be disarmed. You turn back to Professor Flitwick, who was beginning the day's lesson.
  9. After Herbology you're walking with Neville again. Draco comes up to you and says "I'll make you a deal." You make a shield. He continues "your wand for the Elder Wand." You laugh and say "fat chance. Now go pick on someone else." You walk away as he starts to yell "EXPEL-" you jump out of the way and Harry tackles him down. You pant, because you landed on your chest. You say "Thank... you... Harry." He says "no problem. Can't let him get it." You point to him and say "petrificus totalus." He stiffens. You realize he'll tell someone, so you say "Imper-" Hermoine interrupts "__________! What the hell are you doing?! That's an unforgivable curse!" You say "If I don't do it I'll probably be kicked out of Hogwarts!" Hermoine says "well if you do that you WILL be! Find something more harmless. As much as I hate Draco, I don't want you expelled for him." You say "fine" and think. You say "Confundo". Hermoine says "that's better." You say to Draco "never tell anyone." He says "never tell anyone what?" You smile and walk away. You go back to him and flip him over. Harry asks "what are you doing?" You say "I'm looking for my wand." You feel the pockets but only find his. He gave it to one of the idiots. Wait, idiots. You say "We have to go! I think idiots have my wand!"
  10. You see the two idiots Draco always hangs around with. You grab their heads and say "which one of you has my wand?" They both point at each other. You say "I'm going to ask one more time. Then I pull out the Elder wand." One of them (Goyle) says "he has it he has it!" The other one (Crabbe) says "no I don't! He does!" You stiffen them both. You find your wand in Goyle's pocket. You let them up and say "you make me sick." You walk away and go return Dumb ledore's wand. You say "you may or may not be hearing some things about me, but you need to understand they had them coming." Dumbledore looks puzzled. You sigh and say "I just don't want to be kicked out." Dumbledore says "unless it's extreme you won't be." You say "Draco had my wand in Charms then I told Flitwick and he gave it to a friend and I thought he had it back so I used potrificus totalus to freeze him and check him for it, then I did it to his 2 friends who may also have it." Dumbledore says "and this was the Malfoy boy?" You nod and say "I'm really sorry. I'll never do it again I promise." Dumbledore says "I appreciate your honesty. I will not kick you out. In fact, I give you the right to defend yourself in this school,just nothing too bad." You smile and say "thank you so much professor." He nods and you go down to the Great Hall for lunch. Draco and the idiots are not there, so obviously no one found them. Ron asks where you were and you said "I told Dumbledore what I did. And what they did." Ron's eyes widen and he says "that takes courage. You're a true Gryffindor." You smile and eat. After lunch you go to your last class. Then, you go to do your homework by the lake because it's finally nice outside. Then, all of a sudden, you're in the lake with your books and finally finished 1 foot potions essay. You think. You decide to fall to the bottom, but of course, someone pulls you out. Hermoine, Harry, and Ron are all pulling at you saying "are you alright?" You grab your essay (which you took a week to write) and it is ruined. the ink is smeared. Draco sees and smiles. You get up and say "what's your problem with me Malfoy?! WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU?! NOW I'M GOING TO FAIL A CLASS WHERE THE TEACHER ALREADY HATES ME! BUT WHEN I TELL HIM WHAT HAPPENS HE'LL FIND A WAY TO BLAME ME! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" You leave all of your books by the lake and run off. You end up back at the castle. You go to a secluded area, and curl up into a ball.You start uncontrollably crying. You hear a voice say "rough day?" It was Neville.
  11. Neville sits next to you, but you cannot stop crying. You tell him "what did I do to have a life like this?" He shrugs and says "I'm not sure. Even the most innocent people, kids or babies even, can get it awful. Like Harry." You heard that story too much this year. You say "What did I do to deserve Draco always taunting me?" He shrugs again and says "that I just don't know." You sit and cry for a little longer, and Neville says "what happened today?" You explain everything. About the revenge and Crabbe and Goyle and Charms and the Lake and Dumbledore. Neville says "that sounds rough." You nod and say "I just want to dissapear and be somewhere else, someone else. When I was in the lake," You pause. Neville says "you what?" You continue "I almost... Didn't come up. If I wasn't pulled out, I wouldn't come out." He says "why?" You say "where do I begin?" You explain everything bad. From waiting for Quidditch to always being bullied. He gets up and says "get up. You obviously need to learn what you mean to some people." He drags you to Gryffindor tower, and sits you down. He goes to find Hermoine, Harry, and Ron. He comes back 5 minutes later. Harry says "Neville told us what you think of yourself." Hermoine said "you honestly think you're like a tiny little piece we could go without?" Ron says "Hogwarts wouldn't be the same without you." They all talk for about 15 minutes each, then you say "I really needed this. Thanks." You hug everyone, then go to get your books. You see them all still scattered, and when you turn around to get one from the lake you find them all stacked up when you turn back. You say "what the-" and a voice says "a thank you would also be good." You pull out your wand and say "Malfoy. Get away from me." The voice gets closer and says "I want to apologize." You say "for what? For ruining what was supposed to be the greatest experience of my life? This was supposed to be 7 years of great, and you ruined it all in a few months. I was sui-" you don't finish. You say "why am I talking to you?" Draco says "you were what?" You say "I'm not telling you." You gather your books and he says "you were WHAT?" Now, he's trying to force you. You say "I was a little suicidal! Alright? god now get away from me!" Draco says "I never wanted anyone to be suicidal. I just did it for fun, ya know?" You look at him. You say "fun? Ruining people's lives is FUN?! Giving people blisters and bruises and cuts and scrapes and boils, THAT'S FUN TO YOU?!" You pull up the sleeve of your robes to reveal a badly damaged arm. You said "that, that is what you did to me. You're a first year now you're acting like a Death Eater." He sighs and says "I know it is wrong, but-" you interrupt with "just don't talk to me. Just, leave me alone. Thank you for stacking the books, now get out of my sight. Get out of my life." You turn and run towards the castle.
  12. The next day, your friends take turns watching over you. Hermoine escorts you to Charms, then after that to Potions. Snape asks you for your essay. You forgot that Draco ruined it. You tell him, and he gives you a week of detention. After class, Neville takes you to Herbology. He says "rough day?" You say "rough year. Why is this happening?" He says "I don't know. But things should get better soon." Harry runs up to you and says "________! Still want to play Quidditch?" You smile as he says "one of the Chasers was hurt. Tryouts are Friday!" You smile as you ask Neville "you didn't hurt the Chaser did you?" He says "no, this was all a coincidence." After class you go to lunch, then to your final class. After that, you go to Snape for detention. He says "you will not be serving your detention on Friday, I have a meeting that day." You smile as he makes you write the whole essay again. After, Harry is waiting or you. You say "I forgot, it's your turn." He offers you help flying, so you go. In just a few minutes, you're just as good as he is. You go to write to your parents, have dinner, then you go sit in the common room. You see Fred and George, and they come over to you. George says "we hear you're trying out for Quidditch Friday?" You nod your head. Fred says "good luck!" and they walk away.
  13. Friday comes, and you go for your tryout. There are about other people trying, and you're the only first year. You know you didn't get it, but you tried. After your tryout (which was the first) you go sit in the stands and look at the ground for the rest of the time. It may not be as bad as you thought. You were really hard on yourself about it anyways. After everyone joins you Oliver (the captain) says "thank you all. We will have the winner posted in the common room shortly." You leave, and go to sleep. The next day, there's nothing. Same with the next day. Then, when you wake up on Monday, there are people crowding the message board. Hermoine grabs your arm and yanks you over. She reads it before you and smiles. She hugs you tight and you finally get to read it. It says "the new Gryffindor Chaser is ___________ __________." Hermoine hugs you and yells "CONGRATULATIONS!" Harry comes down and says "what is it?" You say "I did it!" Harry sees the message board and says "I told you!" Fred and George come over and say "Congratulations ____________! We knew you could do it!" That day, you happily walked to every class.
  14. After class that day you write to your parents. Since Draco had not bothered you for a week, you were allowed to go alone. Harry even offered to let you use his owl. You find his Snowy Owl named Hedwig and strap the letter to her foot. She just sits there and you say "it's alright, I'm Harry's friend. It's not far, please!" She flies away and you go back to the common room. Harry says "did she go?" You nod and sit down. You look at your arm, and it looks better than you remember. Still pretty bad, but better. Harry says "we have practice tomorrow." You nod and decide to go for a walk. Harry says "it's my turn to watch you, so I have to go with you." You say "fine." You both head out of the castle. You walk toward the Quidditch field, but it no longer brings you pain. You say "when does the term end?" He says "June something." You laugh and he asks "why?" You say "Just wondering. It's almost over." He says "don't remind me. And, we have next year too. And the year after that. And after that for a few more." You nod. After about 10 minutes you end up back at the castle. You see Draco, and you turn around. Harry sees him and he says "run. He saw you." You look back, and sure enough, he's glaring at you." Harry runs, but you trip on a rock. It was a rock this time. Someone helps you up. It wasn't Harry. Or Ron. Or Neville or Hermoine. It was Draco. You get up and mutter a "thanks" and walk away. He walks after you and says "why're you avoiding me?" You speed up and say "because I don't like you." He says "I know what I did was cruel, but I did it to-" you interrupt "to feel superior? To make people hate and fear you? Just get away from me. I had a week of detentions because of you." He says "I'm sorry-" you say "I don't think you are. But if you are, you have a funny way of showing it." You pull out your wand and point it at him. You say "petrificus totalus." He stiffens. You smile and walk away. Harry finds you a minute later and says "what happened?" You tell him, then point to the still stiff Draco. He laughs and says "wanna go practice?" You nod and head to the field. You say "help me with the Quaffle and I help you with the Snitch. He nods and you spend 20 minutes practicing your position. He would guard the goals and try to take the Quaffle. you were actually good at it. Then, you pulled out the snitch. You said "first one to find it wins." You let it go and it flies. You say "give it a minute." About a minute later you yell "GO!" You both mount your brooms and look for the Snitch. You see it, so Harry follows you. You speed up, and so does he. You reach out your hand, and you just miss it. You almost fall, so while you regain your balance Harry chases it. He catches it right after you start moving again. You smile and laugh and say "this is fun." He agrees and you put everything away. You both head up to dinner. After, you study with Hermoine. You go up to bed a few hours later and go right to sleep.
  15. The next day, you go to all of your classes, and everything is fine. In Charms you're reviewing spells learned. People finally stopped escorting you to class. You walked to Charms, and the staircase changes right before you stepped onto it. You are still terrified of the memory. You end up at Charms late but are excused for being such a good student.
  16. After Charms you go to Defense Against the Dark Arts. Professor Quirell teaches you about making a shiels. He says "everyone try it. The incantation is Protego." You already knew this from hiding the Elder Wand. But, you did it anyway. After class, you had Transfiguration (I keep forgetting to mention it). You go there, and Professor McGonnogal does not do anything interesting. You go to Herbology after. You're learning about devil's snare. You already knew what lumos was, so you just floated this too. After class on your way to lunch, you stop by the common room. Once you leave, you see Draco walking past. You turn back but he sees you and says "come." You don't move. He comes to you. He asks "afraid I'm going to hex you?" You nod and back away toward the fat lady. Draco points to you with his wand and says "Salvio Hexia". You yell "I knew it!" and dive behind a corner. He says "that weakens hexes! It was to let you know I won't hex you." You nod and say "what?" He says "I'm sorry about everything I've done alright?" You say "alright. But you can be as sorry as you want I won't forgive you." He says "I know that. It was never my intention to ruin your life alright?" You ask him "then what was your intention?" He says "In Diagon Alley, it was to test you. I wanted to see if you would be a Slytherin by testing your reaction to tripping you. Then you got Gryffindor, and a Slytherin can't be nice to a Gryffindor, it is just weird." You ask "why did you want to be nice?" He sighs and says "I just, I wanted to try and be friends. You seemed smart and interesting. Alright?" You say "if you wanna be friends you have an odd way of showing it." Then, you go down to lunch.
  17. At lunch, before Hermoine can yell at you, you tell her what happened. You eat quick and go to History of Magic. You whisper to Hermoine "they should have us read 'Hogwarts: A History' in this class." She agrees, and soon class ends. You, Harry, Hermoine, Ron, and Neville all go and hang out by the Black Lake and study. The guys needed some help with Charms, so you helped them. Then, you see Draco looking at you, but he makes no attempt to move. Instead he looks away. You felt bad about what you did but it had to happen. Then, Fred and George come up to you. They say "come one! Practice is in half an hour!" You forgot. You look at Harry and you say to everyone "sorry we have to go!" You both run towards the field. You change into your Quidditch robes and get your broom. Time to practice.
  18. You walk out to your first official practice. You're smiling. Harry says "don't fall." You laugh and mount your broom. The Quaffle is thrown into play. Angelina Johnson passes it to you, but a Bludger is about to hit you and you swerve away and throw it to Katie Bell. She brings it to the goal but a Bludger hits her broom and she drops the Quaffle. You go down and catch it and throw it through a goal hoop. Everyone yells out "good job!" and you continue playing for almost 2 hours.
