Is Your Character a Mary Sue? (Also Animal-compatible)

Have you ever wondered if your character is a Mary Sue? Have you wondered if they might seem boring? Uninteresting? Then take this probably inaccurate quiz to NOT find out!

You'll be asked very simple, straightforward, actually probably not straightforward at all questions! And hopefully your result is anything BUT one hundred-percent Mary Sue, just imagine it! That character you worked so hard on, having to THROW IT AWAY! I'm reassuring, aren't I?

First four questions start with design, How does your character dress?
- Goth or emo (red and black shirts, ripped jeans)
- Bright, neon colours that go well together.
- Average for their time period or species.
- They're an animal. . .
What colour are your character's eyes?
- Red, Rainbow, purple, something nice.
- Exotic, but that's average for their kind.
- Bright blue, bright green, Amber, etc.
- Average, brown, grey, dull blues or greens.
What colour hair does your character have?
- Purple, rainbow, blue, etc. (Not dyed)
- Colourful, but it's dyed.
- Brown, black, red(orange) etc.
- Blond
- Animal, but fur/scale colour is unusual.
- Animal, fur/scale colour is normal.
And last question for the design section, What is your character's physique?
- Slim, smooth skin, well-shaped face.
- Muscular and strong, with barely any fat.
- Average build, maybe a little fit, maybe not.
- Scrawny.
- Overweight.
- Greasy, skinny, ribs sticking out the chest. . .
- Kind of pudgy, but not necessarily fat yet.
What are your character's personality flaws?
- Anxiety/Depression.
- Anger issues/rudeness, etc.
- Selfish
- Lazy
- Awkward or non-charismatic.
- Stubborn or blunt.
- Still working on it. . .
- Flaws are bad!!!
How many skill qualities do they have?
- Fast, agile, strong, knowledgeable in many arts and fields!
- Strong, Fast, agile.
- Fast and agile.
- Medic or Artist.
- A combination of some of the above/other.
- Ha, Skill Qualities?! They don't HAVE any.
- Literally any skill you can imagine. (BE HONEST)
Do they have some kind of powers or magic unusual to their kind?
- Yup! Only them! It's remarkable!
- They have magic/powers, but this is normal for their world or species.
- Yes, and they're the only one who has them, but their powers aren't too OP.
- Hahhaaaaaha no.
Is your character in a prophecy?
- Yup.
- Multiple in fact.
- They DO end up saving the world, but no prophecy foretold it.
- Nope, NOPE, no kind of great world-saving Destiny or prophecy happened with them.
- Does it count if it turned out to be fake, but happened anyway?
I lied. One more appearance question. If a humanoid, does your character have some kind of unusual features that do not make sense for their species? (Ex: Wings, horns, tail, etc.)
- Yes.
- Multiple of these features.
- Nope. . .
- My charrie's an animal. . . So it's normal, y'know?
Is your character one of the last survivors of a great disaster?
- Yes! The last of their kind!
- They survived a war on their country/kingdom. . .
- Does it count if they were the one that caused it?
- They survived some kind of tragedy at a small town or school. . .
- Nope.
Onto their villain, are they there just for the protagonist to reform or epically defeat?
- Yeah, now that I think about it, basically. . .
- Yes, what ELSE is the point in a VILLAIN?
- Nope, they're completely realistic, complicated, and maybe even misunderstood!
- Villain. . .? There IS none. . .
- Kinda sorta? I gave them some personality and backstory, but there mostly there for convenience.
How many characters fall in love with yours?
- 1.
- 1-3
- 3-5
- 5-10
- 11+
- Blech, nobody.
