Andrew Zhu, better and commonly known as simply just "Andrew" or "Andy", sometimes known by his full name "Andrew William Zhu", is one of the five cartoon characters in the meta-absurd, text-based, imaginative, hypothetical, intentionally contradicting elaborate hoax trend, "Matt Olsson Brainrot".

Who is Andrew Zhu?
- Andrew Zhu, better known as Andy, or Andrew, also known as Andrew William Zhu (his full name), is Elegans (the literal adult male brown Protobothrops Elegans who can talk and play the trumpet who ages exactly like a human).
- Andrew Zhu is known for hating God and hating life. He is also very contradictory, profane, and talkative.
- Andrew Zhu is currently a member in Mel Grimson's "Doltish Villains Club" (or "D.V.C.").
- Andrew Zhu is known for being able to break the fourth wall, and his meta-commentary, commenting on others' comments about him, which he believes are "overstatements". These comments are mainly from people who intentionally hate him for no reason.
Why does Andrew Zhu hate God?
- Andrew Zhu hates God mainly because he was made, given life, created, and as a result: exists.
- Andrew Zhu also hates God, believing He is intentionally keeping him alive to suffer.
- Andrew Zhu contradictorily hates Satan too, because Satan is evil, and he also contradictorily thinks God isn't entirely evil or intentionally letting others suffer, He is only doing it to Andrew Zhu; which makes no sense and is biblically incorrect.
- Andrew Zhu's most blasphemous belief is that God is using his "supposed 'omnipotence'" on popcorn, TV (as he believes God is laughing at him like how someone would laugh at funny moments that happen in a TV show, the "funny moments" in this case being Andrew Zhu suffering), and intentionally keeping him alive. He goes as far as believing God is feeding the Holy Spirit popcorn like how someone would feed a pigeon popcorn and eating while watching TV with his son Jesus like how two best friends hang out with each other.

- Andrew Zhu, better known as Andy or Andrew, also known by his full name (Andrew William Zhu) (born: September 21, 2006) (age: 19 years old, height: 5'10", 131.6 lbs), is one of the five main characters in "Matt Olsson Brainrot".
- Andrew Zhu is Elegans's best friend and known for being contradictory, profane, talkative, and hateful. Examples of him being hateful would be this: Andrew Zhu hates God for making him, creating him, and giving him life. Andrew Zhu can be quite blasphemous, believing that God is watching him like "how someone watches a TV show", laughing at his suffering "as if it's a funny moment or moment (s)". Andrew Zhu even believes God is eating popcorn with His son "as if they were best friends hanging out", also believing that God is feeding popcorn to the Holy Spirit "like how someone would feed a pigeon popcorn".
- Andrew Zhu and Elegans also have officially met for the first time on October 22, 2022 and it really did happen, in the same local public park the characters usually go to, which is in Santa Clara, CA 95051 (the one and only setting overall). This is back when Andrew Zhu was a junior in the high school he attended (back in T1/Term 1/Semester 1).
- Andrew Zhu even goes as far as trying to help Lloyd Chan disable Google's AI Mode, as both Lloyd Chan and Andrew Zhu are tired of its existence and its responses "getting in their way".
What role does Andrew Zhu exactly play?
- He is Elegans the literal adult male brown Protobothrops Elegans who can talk and play the trumpet's best friend.
- Andrew Zhu is definitely not the smartest person ever, and he is so contradictory. This is part of the brainrotting aspects in the trend.
- The three members (Mel Grimson, Andrew Zhu, and Elegans) are aware that this is a trend, they are characters, and occasionally complains about the associated script in the hypothetical episode they may be in.
- One of the Doltish Villains Club's absurd schemes is Mel Grimson was devising an absurd "plan", involving Mel Grimson needing Andrew Zhu to dress up as Anna Yu (essentially cross dressing), the latter (Andrew Zhu) refusing, as he thinks it's "weird", and by extension, due to his contradictory nature, while he enjoys being in the "Doltish Villains Club", attending the meetings, listening to Mel Grimson and whatnot, he doesn't want to commit anymore crimes. Mel Grimson, enraged, contradictorily doesn't even kick Andrew Zhu out.
When does Andrew Zhu go to sleep?
- While he claims the usual amount of time he goes to sleep is "5 to 8 hours or less", he contradictorily claims he has about "9 hours or more" when it comes to sleep.
- Andrew Zhu reveals he actually goes to sleep around 12 AM -2 AM and wakes up around 9 AM - 11 AM.
- He claims he is trying to break this bad habit, but his actions contradict this otherwise.
- Andrew Zhu contradictorily is lazy when it comes to effort and puts little to no actual effort breaking this bad habit, or improving himself as a person in general.
Reception of Andrew Zhu as a character in real life:
- Multiple people in real life hate the character Andrew Zhu, given it's possible that some of the people in this group happen to be Christians or uphold strong Christian beliefs.
- Christians may be offended by Andrew Zhu's blasphemous beliefs and hatred towards God (even though Andrew Zhu apparently does hate Satan as well, due to his contradictory nature).
- Multiple people who hate Andrew Zhu intentionally exaggerate him, but in reality, Andrew Zhu isn't "infinitely evil" or "boundlessly worse than Hitler" and he's not "immeasurably stupid" or anything like that either.
- While he is untalented in general, he isn't "boundlessly untalented". Andrew Zhu even went as far, saying that those claims are all "overstatements", showcasing his ability to break the fourth wall and comment on other people's exaggerated (and often inaccurate) opinions.
What was Andrew Zhu's education like?
- Andrew Zhu mentioned "barely being able to graduate high school back in June 2024", but he also disregards the idea of further education, explicitly intending to not want to continue education or attend more school.
- This showcases Andrew Zhu's self-sabotaging personality, as Andrew Zhu chooses not to attend more school, but if he didn't, then he would have a much less chance of surviving in the real world.
- Andrew Zhu overall only has a high school diploma.
- To him, it may seem like his "first ever achievement", but while uncertain, he may have achieved more, such as actually making a friend with a certain Protobothrops Elegans (Elegans).

- Andrew Zhu hates Google AI Mode's responses, as he feels like it is "degrading", "stupid", "moronic", etc.
- Since Andrew Zhu is contradictory, he is easily tempted to use Google's AI features, using offensive language, cursing at it, regardless of how many times Google's AI Mode "warns" him that his "account may be terminated" or "it's a violation of Google's generative AI policies".
