Hogwarts Love Story part 1

You are a girl from Slytherin called Angelia Winters (you can change the name if you want), and it's your 3rd year at Hogwarts now (but you're still in year 2). (read the quiz before!)

This love story begins in your 3rd year because nothing much happened in year 1 and 2. (btw harry joined in your 2nd year). I hope you enjoy the quiz!

  2. You quickly rushed towards the Hogwarts train. You were just in time, and jumped on. Because you were slightly late, there weren't many empty compartments. Actually, none at all except one that only had 3 people in it. "Mind if I sit here?", you asked, your voice barely audible. Considering Your last year, it was better to keep your head down and blend in. Turn almost invisible. "Sure! What's your name?", asked a black haired boy with green eyes and glasses. "Angelia. Angelia Winters.", you muttered. "Really? I haven't seen you before, which house are you in?", asked a boy with red hair, with a face covered with freckles. "Slytherin...", you said. You weren't used to people talking to you like this. Usually, they ignored you or made fun of you. That was how it worked, all you needed to do was block them out. "Sorry, what did you say?", he asked again. "Slytherin.", you said, a little louder now. "Really?! I didn't think someone like you would go there!", said the black haired boy again. "Harry! That's so rude!", a girl with very curly hair said, "I'm Hermione, that was Harry, and this is Ron."
  3. You didn't know whether to take it as a compliment or not. Since it was almost time to get off the train, you decided to change into your robes. Rushing to the changing room, you didn't see where you were walking. "Oof!", you exclaimed as you bumped into someone, causing you to fall down. When you looked up, it was Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor quidditch captain.
  4. "Are you ok?", he asked gently. You nodded and stood up, blushing furiously. It was quite awkward for a moment, until you walked past him to get changed.
  5. You arrived at Hogwarts and got into the "horseless carriages". You quickly patted one of the thestrals before climbing onto the carriage. After you climbed out, someone bumped into you, causing you to fall again.
  6. You swiftly turn your head around to see who knocked you over, and you groan. "Oh, it's you", the person says bluntly. It was Draco, and although he was in your house, you still found him annoying. You felt like he was always so arrogant, to students and teachers alike. Of course, he was followed by Crabbe and Goyle, his friends. Right now, his face was unreadable. He muttered something that sounded like a sorry, but you didn't think so. The Draco Malfoy you knew never apologized.
  7. At Hogwarts, after the feast, you trudge upstairs to your dorm. Same room as usual, but instead it said 'Year 3' instead of 'Year 2'. You quickly moved to your bed at the far corner and started unpacking your things, until someone said, "Hi!" You turned around. It was a random girl you never saw before, but then, you never really talked to anyone. "My name's Lilith, I don't think I've seen you before, are you new?", she asked. "No, I'm just really quiet", you replied. At that, both of you flopped onto your beds. Lilith fell asleep almost immediately, but you were lying wide awake. Callie was purring on your stomach, while you stroked her, and Peanut wrapped himself around your finger (he's a tiny snake). Slowly, without realizing, you fall asleep, thinking about what happened in the day.
  8. The next morning, a prefect hands you your schedule. You have Care for Magical Creatures first thing! It's your favorite subject, and you walk to breakfast feeling particularly happy. You scarf down your breakfast (a muffin) and hurry to Hagrid's cabin ten minutes early. Today, as you can see, you are learning about hippogriffs. You think that it might be a little too hard for the others, but you should be fine. When the lesson starts, Hagrid explains how you should approach a hippogriff, and warns the class that they can be offended easily. Hagrid calls you up for a demonstration, but even though you're supposed to bow first, the hippogriff bows to you already out of recognition. Hagrid seems surprised, "Yeh already know Nightingale 'ere? Well, I guess I'll leave yeh at it then." You reach a hand out to pet Nightingale, and she doesn't object. Finally, she allows you to climb on her back and she takes off.
  9. After lunch, you have potions with the Gryffindors. Although you're in year 3, you still have to do potions with the year 2s because you SUCK at potions. (btw you're still the same age as them, you're just a year higher) You sit at a table by yourself, not really minding who you sit with. They all suck anyway. I take that back, you think to yourself. Draco has sat himself next to you with a smile, halfway between a smirk and a genuine smile. You then spot Harry, Ron and Hermione walking into the dungeon, and they give you an apologetic smile. Well, that's a first, you think.
  10. Professor Snape starts the class, and apparently you're learning a Swelling Solution today. You normally hate damage-causing potions, and today is not an exception. You sigh and add the dried nettle and pufferfish eyes, wincing. You hate ingredients from animals, which is why you're also a vegetarian. Draco keeps reaching for the same things as you, making you awkwardly blush. The lesson ends, and you practically run out of there.
  11. In the corridor, you accidentally smash into Oliver again. "We've got to stop meeting like this", he smiles as he helps you pick up your things. You apologize a million times and run off, your face a deep red. When you reach your hand inside your bag, you find a crumpled up note. "Meet me by the lake at 10 o' clock", it says. Then, a pink firework whizzes past your ear. "Sorry!", Fred and George chorus as they rush past to catch it.
  12. Later, at night, you sneak out to the lake and arrive just on time. The person you're meeting with is nowhere to be seen, so you start whistling a tune. A bird in a tree chirps along with you, creating a little harmony. "Nice song," says somebody. You jump, startled. "Sorry I'm late, I got held up by the Weasley twins.", you can make out the figure of Oliver in the dark. "So.. Why did you ask me to meet you?", you half mumbled. Oliver was staring at you, but seemed to be lost in thoughts. "What? Oh, um... I think you dropped this.", he snaps back to the present. He hands you a silver ring, with two intertwined snakes facing each other. In the middle is a round emerald. You gasp, it's the ring your parents gave you! Your only possession from your parents; it must have slipped off at some point. You are a deep red now, luckily Oliver can't see you in the dark. It'll be obvious that you're a Slytherin now, and you expect the oncoming insults. That's what all the other houses'll do, anyway. You quickly mutter a "thank you" and run back into the castle.
  13. Instead of walking back to your dorm, though, you double back and watch Oliver walk glumly back into the castle, feeling bad for him. It /was/ rude of you to run off like that. Your thoughts become more and more jumbled up as you sprint towards the lake again. Then, you feel your hoof beats breaking up the dirt as you canter past Hagrid's cabin. Nightingale, the hippogriff, bows as you toss your silvery mane. You then do a full loop of the lake, your reflection casting a silvery glow in the lake. Spotting a figure sitting under the big oak tree, you cautiously walk over to them. Only when you nudge him with your muzzle does Harry realize that there was a silver dappled horse standing right next to him. He stares at you then reaches his hand out to you, as if he was making sure you're real. "Did you have a tough day in the forest too?", he asks. Maybe he thinks you live in the Forbidden Forest and came to the lake for refuge. Either way, you kneel down on all four legs, and Harry pats and strokes you. It's nearly midnight when Harry decides to go back to his dorm. After a while, you head back to sleep as well.
  14. The next morning, you have double potions first thing. You had your hair done up in a pretty French braid, and lots of people seemed to be staring. Embarrassed, you quickly try to take a seat at the Slytherin table without getting noticed. But soon enough, Harry calls out from the edge of the Gryffindor table, "Nice hair, Angelia!" "Thanks, I'm the hair tie.", Peanut says, poking out of your hair. Harry looks startled as you scold Peanut gently. It was true though, you couldn't find a hair tie so you asked Peanut to be a temporary one. "It's fine, he understands," he replies. Now it's your turn to be startled. "You... You can understand him?", you ask Harry. He nods, and you don't know what to say so you just rush to sit at your table.
  15. While you eat a muffin, you think about what just happened. (and yes, you're eating a muffin for breakfast) Suddenly, there's a warm feeling on your finger, and it's the ring you lost the other day. You suddenly feel yourself falling and you land, but not painfully. There are two people in a garden, one a child about 1 year old and the other one must be her father. Suddenly, you recognize this. It's a memory. YOUR memory. You suddenly realize that there is a giant snake heading towards who you think might be your father. You're sitting in his lap, perfectly still, and staring at the snake. Then, the snake slithers straight onto you, and you laugh. It seems like you're having fun. Then, you suddenly feel like you're being jerked back to the present. You feel dizzy, and everything feels blurred and muffled. You feel like somebody's talking to you, but you can't hear them properly. Then, everything goes black.
