  • I just sent my mom a link for casting calls near me and how to apply, I am so nervous for what she will say. It has been a couple minutes since I sent it and I am still so nervous. I got "Pretty Nice!," but acting is one of my passions! I'm a 14 year old girl with a dream, but also with parents who flip flop between wanting me to follow my heart/creative side and them wanting me to take less risks and just become a doctor, scientist, or some other job they consider "professional." Wish me luck!

  • Well I got "Okay"

I'm 20 years old and I always wanted to become an actor at a young age but shyness got the best of me, I'm a creative person and I'm into drawing and gaming a lot, acting was one of the things I'm so interested doing but I lack a lot of things, I don't have the looks, experience and training. I love international movies, I live in South Africa but I'm so passionate in giving a try to act overseas and I know it's going to sound weird but I wanted to act in movies that are paranormal, sci-fi and romance. I love Euphoria and I once had a dream being a background actor in it. I don't if that's destiny to become an actor but I'm willing to give a try, even if I have to be a background actor in a lot of movies, becoming a voice actor or starting in theaters. It's a well start for me to help gain confident and just be myself.

  • My score was "pretty nice"! Im 16 and I have wanted to be an actress/Filmmaker since i was 4! I used to record myself playing with my toys because for some reason I thought I was making a movie and could watch it back lol. Regardless, I never thought I would become an actress, and i quit thinking about it around 8 and started thinking about YT instead. Around 12 I started thinking I was the "perfect age" to pursue acting. In elementary school, I gained a bit of weight, which affected my confidence. ( i was never really big but it did have an effect on me) I was kind of popular actually ( everyone knew me and i loved talking to people) but the kids at my school always tried to act older than they were and i never really completely fit in, and because i loved talking so much they would hang around me until they got tired of me. My dream of becoming an actress started to seem impossible to me, and I began to doubt myself. During middle school (lost weight but gained during quarantine, so I'm still losing.) In the middle of quarantine, I switched completely to online school due to covid still being an issue. also during quarantine i started a yt channel and currently have 4k subs! I'm actually terrified because now that i am 16, i'm thinking about college for drama & film and one of my dream schools is NYU but nyc is so expensive and fast paced idk if i could handle it. also My other dream School is USC but its completely across the country! I'm afraid because i'm starting to think that its just a "following my heart thing" because i've never had any acting experience and 0 acting classes. I'm starting to explore different options when it comes to a "career" So I can at least have a backup plan. Sometimes i wonder if i still love or it, or if i feel obligated to love it because i have loved it all my life. But everytime i see movie sets, and all the cast and equipment i just light up inside and can't help but smile. ;(

  • I know this is weird, but I kind of want to be a actress, but I don't want to because of the insure income. You might have heard about the new Percy Jackson series, they have cast a boy as Percy Jackson, and I kind if have a dream to be cast as Annabeth Chase, but I still under the surface know it wouldn't work because a) I live in Sweden, and it would be impossible to try out, and even if they moved to other countries it wouldn't work and b) I am one year older than what Annabeth is, I just turned 13 and c) another reason to why it wouldn't work is because I have never been playing a part, even though I want to, and even if I got the chance my mom wouldn't let me and yeah.....

So I know it wouldn't work, even though I still can't the dream go past me.

    • in shrek the musical, fiona said "if you can conceive it, believe it, achieve it." that is literally the most meaningful thing to ever come out of shrek, and that's saying something.

i don't know where you're going in life or if you're even still looking for replies to this post, but trust me, if you set your mind to it, then literally anything is possible. i know it sounds cheesy and you've probably heard it before, but just trust me. it'll happen.

  • I am an 14 year old bout to turn 15 wanted to start acting, after I found out I loved it, not sure if I can that well. I remember when I told my mom (short story: I wrote what I wanted to do in the future in an book and made the book a topic so that my mom can read it, while I run away in a corner) I was very much nervous cause I thought that she would've said no and might want to choose my career choice but she was like (ok) I said what's your opinion she said do what you want to do I was happy and relieved cause I also wanted to do YouTube also, she was sure about the YouTube but not the acting cause we dont have much money and she doesn't have an job at the moment, but she kept a positive mind and is allowing me to gather my acting stuff like: headshots, reels, etc. We sat down together and signed up for acting sites that was really good, am still waiting on my headshots currently. Also asked if I can go to college but I want to go to college and have Acting as an major, I also spoke to my Theatre Arts teacher he told me I have to do CAPE, SAT, for me to do Performing Arts and go to college. Am excited to continue my journey to start acting. I shall update you all when I have made progress. ( Also sorry if what I type didn't make any sense even though I read lots of books am still bad at writing sensible things. **Update y'all when I have made progress**

  • I got ''Pretty Nice''! I've taken a lot of these texts and quizzes, and most have said I would make a good actress. I think I'll start auditioning for movies sometime soon. I'm a 13-year-old girl and I have always loved to act. Hope you guys see me in movies, eventually!

  • I'm only 12 but I've wanted to be an actress since I was about 8. Problem is my mum won't let me take drama GCSE. I'm planning on joining a drama club but I don't know if it's possible as I'm quite busy. I got pretty nice on this test.

    • Hi am not professional but I will say practice in front of your siblings first, then your parents, and then your family and make the crowd increase maybe that will build your confidence that's what my teavher told me. I am also scared about me to once I start acting, I always thing will the co-stars like me, will the directors and producers like me. I always wonder what if I mess up. You gotta try something to boost confidence start of small and go bigger and also make sure theres supported/positive people around you.

  • Im past my prime, but have always felt, well, known, that I can act. When I was 20, on a whim, I drove to LA with $384, a bag of clothes, and two people I barely knew. We stayed in a small apartment in the valley behind a Ricks grocery store, with a friend of one of them, who was an aspiring actor himself, and had a job as an assistant to a well-known, director.

I wasnt just a pretty face. I had that It Girl thing, and although I sorta knew this about myself, I had been bullied a lot as a kid, so I was confident but friendly and gracious. I was often told that I looked like a Caucasian Halle Berry. Although, who knew who Jane March was would tell me I was a dead ringer for her. Anyhow..

One day the guy we were staying with brought me with him on set. The attention I received from passing crew members was..wow. Movie sets are huge, and most of the crew members used bikes to get around efficiently. As I walked along it was just this constant buzz of bicycles and questions: Well hello! Whats your name? Who are you? Where are you from? etc etc. It was dizzying, and very encouraging. To this day, I know that if I had stayed in LA, I wouldve ended up with plenty of opportunities to shine.

Heres the sad part. The part that I still look back on wistfully: I struggle with bipolar disorder, and back then I self-medicated with drugs. Trouble found me, a pretty, naive young girl in LA, very quickly, and my family convinced me to come home. I wasnt even out there a year before I found myself back in my room at my mothers house in Detroit. Deep down, Ill always wonder what couldve been..

    • It's okay to critique people, but when you're cocky and just plain rude, it's not so okay. I'm glad you're confident, but ,I'm sure most people would agree, you need to remember your humble side and never loose sight of being a good person in life.

    • I actually am a pretty experienced and decently famous actor, and this quiz is actually pretty accurate. I got 87% pretty nice which also made me a bit more confident. It could have some improvements though, for example that shy people could also be good actors/actresses. For example: i was really shy when i started but i turned out to be really good. Thank you for making this anyways.

  • I took this quiz many times in many different ways. U only do well if u get a bi7#chy stereotype(( for the most part.)) It was also put together poorly. I've done my research and just did the quiz for fun. The question don't make much sense and some of it is extremely unrealistic. (~_~;) But it's fun if u a kid maybe

    • I know exactly how you feel. I can't choose between being a post-secondary teacher or to go for an acting career. I love using my creativeness and imagination on putting together or developing stories or characters, but I also want to teach others and help kids grow and learn who and what they want to be.
