C1 has been really stressed lately. They live in the capital of monster attacks and ruthless taxes and as if that wasn't enough they just got laid off from their job. All they want to do is come home and rest but the minute they open the door they find a stranger sleeping on their couch. This stranger is C2. C2 looks eerily similar to a shape shifter, probably because they are a shape shifter. C2 wants to stay in C1'S house for a few days C1 wants to get rid of them immediately, what could possibly happen next

Personality: a little mischievous and humorous.
Backstory: constantly being hunted and squatting, always getting in trouble with the law, and doesn't have any reason for it. they just "feel like it". they don't remember their childhood when they were born, they just remember being in a lab then one day escaping.
Goals/aspirations: they low-key kind of want to be a baker one day
Strengths: agility, loyalty, chutzpah, moxie, pick-pocketing.
Weaknesses: loyalty, chutzpah, moxie, big ego, to full of them self.
Hobbies: committing crimes

Personality: he's eccentric and charismatic usually but he has been down lately
Backstory: his mother tried to sacrifice him to the monsters when he was born because he had a defect in his eyes. He wears contact lenses now to keep his eyes from freaking people out and to help him see (it also means I don't have to edit the image at 1 am)
Goals/aspirations: he worked as a makeshift alchemist and he wanted to save up enough to get an eye surgery now he's just attempting to save up enough to avoid being homeless
Strengths: Roth has natural charm and he makes potions
Weaknesses: he gets upset easily when people comment on his appearance
Hobbies: illegal bike races and alchemy
Favorite food: tomato soup
Other: he's mostly considered a snake oil salesman as he sells potions at a supermarket rather than a legitimate pharmacy. -

Roth was not happy as the manager of the Wal-Mart stood in front of him. "Sorry Roth, we just can't justify having you in the store anymore. We lose more money with you selling that junk than we would with pre-packaged potions, or even medicines." The manager said "you're replacing me with cold medicine? C'mon, I'm like, your favorite alchemist. There's gotta be something to fix this!" Roth said. "You should've fixed it weeks ago." The manager said ushering him out of the door. -
Charlie was walking along a street, they yawned and couldn't really recall the last time they slept. they looked at each house to decide which one they would crash in, they eventually decided on one and tried the front door. it was locked, they went around back and tried the back door. when it opened, Charlie went straight to the couch and fell asleep.

Roth kicked rocks as he walked home. Of all the times he could've gotten fired it just HAD to be when the sewer system turned into a dungeon. The event made his job more important sure, but it made everyone's lives worse. Roth wished he'd punched the manager when he got the chance
When he got to his door something felt off. It was like the air turned stale. Roth took a small Swiss army knife out of his pocket and a healing potion just in case as he opened the door. The entryway was normal. That was a pretty good sign it didn't turn into a dungeon. He started walking to the kitchen when he noticed something strange on his couch. "What the hell!" Roth shouted as he approached what seemed to be a person sleeping on his couch. -
Charlie snorted and quickly got up. "oh nice, the owner." Charlie yawned unfazed, got any food? they shifted into a cat and kept up to the back of the couch. "you don't mind if i crash here right?" Charlie yawned again, then saw the swiss knife. "oh, crap." they kept away out of reach and shifted back. "I don't mean any harm, I'm just tired." well they didn't mean any harm as far as he knew.

"how did you get into my house? This isn't some kinda dungeon despite all that still air at the door." Roth said. He shifted his fingers on the healing potion and considered grabbing his cell phone from his pocket

"the back door was unlocked." Charlie chuckled. "why would I care that its not a dungeon?" they asked, almost jokingly.
