"I'm guessing you're going to take my dinner too." Roth said as he watched the stove. The water was starting to form small bubbles at the bottom of the pan but it wasn't anywhere near boiling yet.

Charlie just gave Roth a big grin, obviously answering the question.

"yippee." Roth said unenthusiastically as he poured the sauce into the saucepan and stirred. "Tomorrow is taco night, the old American style." He said as the water started to boil

"love it" Charlie said, bored. they shifted into a cat and jumped on the counter, continuing to watch Roth cook.

"if you get cat hair on my counter, you're cleaning it up." Roth said as he poured the noodles into the boiling water. Occasionally puffs of purple smoke burst from the boiling water.

"Fine." Charlie said. they sat, a little creeped out by the purple smoke.

Soon enough the pasta was done and Roth started draining the water. The water turned orange. "I'll have to increase the nettles in the next batch, and lower the turmeric." Roth mumbled to himself before dipping his finger in the orange water and licking it. "Definitely less turmeric." He commented.

Charlie watched the pasta being drained eagerly, excited to eat. they didn't really care that they were in a strangers house or that a stranger was feeding them, they just liked free food.

Roth pulled the sauce off of the heat then dumped the pasta into the sauce. He stirred the pasta then added a handful of mozzarella cheese on the pasta. "Spaghetti, alchemist style." Roth said

"Better than American tacos" charlie joked.

"hey, I love white people taco night." Roth retorted. He opened up another cupboard to reveal all sorts of bowls. Roth took a square bowl with Christmas trees on the side.

Charlie snickered and loafed while they observed Roth get the bowl.

Roth opened a drawer full of silverware. He had a lot more dishes than your average single person should have. Roth took a fork out of the drawer and dished out a heap of spaghetti into his bowl. "I hope you don't mind house m.d. because that's what is going to be playing in the living room. Help yourself to a bowl but don't use the glass bowls. They're expensive and I don't want them to get chipped." He said.

"Alright." charlie took a orange plastic bowl from the cupboard and grabbed a fork from the drawer and put a large serving of spaghetti into it. instead of using the fork, they took a chunk and plopped it right into their mouth.

Roth sat down on the couch and played the show. He thought it was pretty decent. It was one of only 5 shows he'd watch for the last 3 months. Roth liked routine and he liked to rewatch his TV shows. He didn't even watch movies very often in the pursuit of rewatching the TV shows he liked.
