"Okay. That's okay." She held her close. "Do you want to talk about it?"
-
Maeve shook her head, face still buried in Lavender’s shoulder. ‘I’m sorry,’ she mumbled, voice small and muffled.
-
"No, don't be sorry." Lavender kissed the top of her head. "It's fine."
-
‘I don’t want to drag you down with me,’ Maeve muttered, finally lifting her head to look up at her.
-
"You're not dragging me down with you." Lavender looked her in the eye, pulling her close. "I don't think thats even possible for you to do."
-
‘At least we have enough money to build a house in the middle of the woods and run away and live with the deer and birds,’ Maeve mumbled. ‘Then nobody can take pictures of us and call us weird lesbians.’
-
Lavender liked that idea. "I'd love to be a weird lesbian in the woods with you."
-
Maeve smiled weakly. ‘I would love to be a weird lesbian in the woods with you too,’ she mumbled.
-
Lavender grinned, holding her close and kissing her cheek.
-
Maeve giggled softly, leaning into her touch. She hugged onto her.
-
Lavender peppered her face with kisses.
-
Maeve looked up at her, smiling weakly. ‘I’m sorry for disappearing on you.’
-
Lavender shook her head. "No, it's fine. Don't be sorry." She smiled back.
-
Maeve sniffled. ‘Are you sure? You get sad when I ghost you.’
-
Lavender frowned. Is she crying?
"I'm not sad." Lavender lied. She felt bad for lying. "I mean, I was sad, but not anymore."
