‘Shhhhhh,’ Maeve said, though was giggling.

"Never~" Lavender chuckled tiredly.

‘Go to sleeeeep!’

"What're you gonna do, make me?"

‘Well, I can’t, but pleeeease go to sleep!’

Lavender huffed. "Ugh, fine." She relaxed in Maeve's arms, letting herself try to fall asleep.

Maeve smiled, playing with the ends of her hair. ‘Thank you~’

Lavender smiled, letting her. After ten or so minutes she managed to fall asleep.

‘Goodnight,’ Maeve whispered, then tried to fall asleep herself.

(yesss)
Maeve woke up the next morning to the sunlight. -
(okkkk)
Lavender shifted a bit in her sleep, mumbling incoherently in her sleep. -
Maeve giggled, snuggling close.

Lavender smiled slightly in her sleep. Then the smile left. "What are you doing?" She mumbled in her sleep. "No, wait, I-I can fix this-" She curled up into a small little ball.

Maeve frowned. She hugged her close, stroking her hair.
