"Please, I'm sorry, don't leave me-" Lavender's voice started cracking slightly, sounding like she was on the verge of tears.

‘Hey, hey, it’s okay,’ Maeve murmured, trying to sound soothing. She held her close and held one of her hands, gently tracing patterns on her palm. She didn’t know if waking her would help.

"I can fix this, honest, please just don't go-" Lavender whimpered quietly, pulling her hands away from Maeve to wrap herself in a tight hug.

Maeve wrapped her arms around Lavender and shuffled closer, stroking her hair. ‘I’m here, it’s okay,’ she whispered.

"Please don't go-" Lavender whispered, tears starting to form. "I-I thought you cared...."

Maeve was very concerned. She gently cupped her face and tried to gently shake her awake. ‘Lavender? Lav, are you okay?’

(OMG LAV IS SUCH A CUTE NICKNAME)
Lavender did wake up, looking at Maeve with a look full of fear and betrayal before snapping out of it a little. "Maeve?" -
(ONG YESSS)
‘Yeah, it’s me. Are you okay?’ Maeve kept one hand on her cheek, the other grabbing one of her hands. -
Lavender took a second to catch her breath. It was just a dream. She didn't really abandon you. You're okay. She cautiously leaned into Maeve's touch, nodding.

Maeve massaged her hand to try and distract and calm her down. ‘It’s okay, I’m here,’ she said softly.

Lavender looked up at her. "I-It was just a bad dream." She mumbled.

‘Okay. Do you wanna talk about it?’

Lavender didn't answer for a while, leaning into her. "Do you ever think about leaving me?" She asked quietly.

Maeve frowned. ‘No. I mean, yeah, sometimes, but that’s more being afraid of you leaving me. Not me leaving you. Why?’

Lavender frowned. "Why are you afraid of me leaving you? I would never."
