"it's hilarious in an ironic way. This is the skin of the killer, Adrienne." Octavia said before giggling. She knew all the funniest lines.

“Nooo, it’s so cringe, don’t say that-“ Adrienne jokingly whined, chuckling softly.

"the lines kill me. Like, 'hop on spider monkey' lives rent free in my head." Octavia said. She watched a lot of reviews on twilight and heard the funniest lines.

“PFFT- Stoppp,” Adrienne said, laughing as they accidentally bumped their arm to Octavia’s.

Octavia blushes a little when their arms touch. She tried to continue the joking "I'm pretty sure they also said something about a blood sippy cup." Octavia said. It wasn't as funny as she'd hoped.

“Probably, yeah,” Adrienne replied with a chuckle, nodding. They yawned, rubbing their face with one hand.

"this book is just really boring. It's mostly a coming of age moving story that's supposed to be a horror story." Octavia said, defaulting to her previous book

Adrienne nodded, resting their head on the table with a yawn.

Octavia tried to get back to her book after saying that. Octavia was convinced she'd just said something incredibly embarrassing.

Adrienne watched Octavia, furrowing their brows a little. "You okay?" They asked, a hint of concern washing over their face.

"oh, I'm fine. I just said something wrong so... Yeah." Octavia said, trying to vocalize her error

“You didn’t say anything wrong,” Adrienne said, watching Octavia for a moment.

"um, I mean, it just... I kinda killed the conversation with something stupid I thought would be funny, and then talked about something only slightly related." Octavia said awkwardly

“Hm.” Adrienne paused, thinking for a moment before smiling at Octavia. “Well, I thought it was pretty funny- And I wan’t thinking all that when you said it, that you f---ed up the conversation or anything,” they spoke, yawning a little. “And it definitely wasn’t stupid~”

"well, uhm, okay then... Uh, but this book is actually, a really hard read. I think I should probably stop talking about it now." Octavia said, trying to keep the conversation afloat but unsure of what to say.
