Ernie held her wrist gently with his other hand to try and stop it from shaking.

Mahina let him;m, clenching her jaw, waiting for Callisto to make the first move.

Ernest looked at Callisto, frowning. "If you even try and hurt her..." He clenched his jaw.

Callisto’s gaze was fixed on Mahina. She didn’t respond.

Ernie glared at Callisto still, shuffling slightly closer to Mahina.

A blue light shot out from Callisto’s wand. Mahina gasped as it hit her chest, rooted to the spot.

"Hey!" Ernest snapped before turning to Mahina. "Are you alright?" He asked quickly. Please be alright...

Mahina didn’t respond. Her eyes were wide and mouth slightly open. She dropped her staff.

Ernie shook her gently. "Mahina, please, please be ok." He turned back to Callisto. "What did you do to her?"

Callisto didn’t respond. She lowered her wand and looked away. Selene broke her spell on Hendrick to grab Mahina’s arm.
‘Mahina, talk to me,’ Selene said, a mix of a demand and a plea. ‘Please.’
Mahina was still. Hendrick watched in horror. -
Ernest squeezed Mahina's hands. "Please, please talk to me." He said quietly, eyes welling up with tears.

Mahina didn’t respond. The colour had slowly drained from her face.
‘Callisto?’ Hendrick said. ‘What did you..’ -
Ernie turned to Callisto, his face a mix of horror and furiousness. "What the hell did you do to her?" He snapped.

Callisto put her want in her dress pocket. ‘She’ll be fine,’ she stated. ‘In a little bit.’
‘That doesn’t answer the question,’ Selene snapped. -
Ernest glared, taking a step forward. "What did you do to her?" He asked again.
