Chester waved a hand dismissively. 'Go ahead,' he said.

"You sure? It looks like a diary..." Jayd trailed off, reading the first page, which was Chester from a year or two ago rambling about gardening.

Chester looked at Jayden. 'No. Absolutely not, put it down.'

"You said I could!" Jayd said, reading more. "It's not even that weird, just you going on about plants."

'Put it down!' Chester repeated, standing up.

"Fine! What's so embarrassing about it anyways?" Jayd sighed, setting it down.

'It's a diary. What do you mean, what's so embarrassing?'

"Fair enough, but it's just you going on about plants. Unless later on you start gushing about some giiiirl?"

'I'm not telling you! Put it back!'

"That's a yes!" Jayden laughed manically, putting the diary back on the shelf.

'Oh, shush.'

"You're not denying it." Jayden teased, though something didn't sit right in his gut about it.

'Because it's none of your business.'

"But then wouldn't you deny it? You not saying anything about it is telling me you're in looove." He teased.

'I am not!' Chester said. He sat back down.
