Chester sighed and stuffed his hands in his pockets. ‘I’ll do anything to make you trust me again, Jayden.’

Jayd gave a small nod. “I know.” He said quietly. But that doesn’t change the fact that I don’t trust you.

‘Do you trust me?’

“I-well-but-.” Jayden stopped talking.

Chester sighed. He looked away. ‘I… I don’t think we should do this.’

“Do what?” Jayden asked quietly.

Chester looked him dead in the eye. ‘You don’t trust your own boyfriend, and rightfully so. You’re still scared of me, too.’ He sighed. ‘Until we sort this out, I…’

Jayd’s eyes widened. He really hoped he wasn’t about to say what he thought he was.

Chester noticed the look on his face. He looked down.

Jayden frowned, looking down as well.

‘I really don’t want to end this, Jayden. But I’ve been so terrible to you the past week…’

Jayd furiously wiped his eyes, not wanting Chester to see him crying.

Chester noticed him wipe his eyes. He was tearing up himself. ‘I’m not gonna break up with you. But before we continue, I just feel like we need to sort out our feelings for each other.’

Jayden gave a small nod. “O-ok.” He said quietly. -

Chester took a shaky breath. 'You should be the one saying these things, not me,' he mumbled in disbelief. 'You're seriously staying with the guy who kissed his ex?'
