Jayd frowned. He would’ve bought into the story more had he not paused in the middle of it. “And what?” -
(LMAO)
Chester didn’t say anything for a moment. He looked down at his hands. ‘And nothing. I-I’m so sorry, Jayden.’ -
Jayden didn’t answer, standing back up to pack his things more.

Chester looked up at him. ‘Jayden?’

Jayd looked up at him, still refusing to look him in the eyes. “What?” He asked, not forgiving him.

Chester reached out, grabbing his hand. ‘How mad are you at me?’

“Mad enough to not forgive you.” Jayden muttered, pulling his hand back.

Chester looked down at his hand. ‘Mad enough to leave me?’

Jayd didn’t answer that. He knew if he broke up with him right then and there, he’d lose his mind- at least, more than he already had.

‘Jayden?’ Chester looked back up at him. ‘Please answer me. I… I don’t know what I’d do if you left me.’

Jayden exhaled sharply. “I don’t know, ok?” He said quietly.

Chester took a deep breath. ‘O-Ok…’ He didn’t want to touch Jayden, despite the strong urge to pull him into a hug. He couldn’t bare the thought of losing him because of Beatrice.
‘Do you still want me to come with you this afternoon?’ -
Jayd thought about that. On one hand, he wasn’t sure he did, but in the other hand, he knew he’d lose it if he was with his family without Chester.
“If you want.” He decided. “On the condition that I get to kick you out whenever I like. And if I find out you’re keeping another secret from me…” he wasn’t sure if his trust in Chester would last if he kept another secret. -
Chester grabbed both his hands. ‘I’ll tell you everything. I promise.’

You better. Jayden forced a smile, pulling his hands away again.
