Chester looked at him. He frowned. 'What are you thinking about?' he asked, curious.

"Nothing." Jayden said fast.

'Riiiiight.'

"Oh, shut up." Jayd said, cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

Chester smirked. 'Tell me!'

"No! It's stupid anyway."

'Pfft.'

"Fine!" Jayd exclaimed.

Chester raised an eyebrow. 'Go on, then.'

"So last night, when you were wondering... Y'know." Jayden said nervously, but also hopefully for some weird reason. "Were you... Serious?"

Chester blushed. 'Well now, I don't know..'

Jayd gave a small nod, his heart sinking slightly. "Oh- Uhm, alright." He was expecting a more definite answer, even if it wouldn't be one he was hoping for.

'What were... What were you hoping?' Chester asked, stuttering. He didn't stammer often, so it surprised him.

"I don't know." Jayden said nervously, cursing at himself internally. He knew it'd be an awkward and embarrassing conversation, and now his words were tripping over themselves.

Chester fiddled with his hands. 'Oh, right...' he murmured. He wasn't sure what he wanted. If anything, he was confused about his feelings for Jayden.
