“… I don’t know, but not peasant.” Eli said, trying to glare at Callum, but feeling way to happy to manage it.

Callum grinned. 'What about jester?'

“Yes, that’s much better than peasant.” Eli agreed, chuckling.

'Good,' Callum laughed.

“Your highness, I, glad we made a decision. I look forward to being your jester.”

Callum laughed. 'And I your highness.'

Eli grinned. “Does this mean I get one of those goofy hats jesters wear?”

'Maybe.'

“Good, because those things are so cool.”

'I've never heard of anyone who thinks those hats are cool!' Callum laughed.

“Well, I am a weirdo.” Eli said, laughing along. “Besides, they’re so big and crazy it’d be funny seeing everyone’s reactions.”

'That's fair. It'd be hilarious!'

“Everyone just staring with confused expressions as I walked by, with you walking next to me in this fashionable suit.” Eli fantasized.

'The occasional laugh or someone shouting "weirdos!",' Callum continued.
