“How rude!” Eli said indignantly. “Your highness, you ought to learn some manners.”

“Apology accepted.” Eli said, laughing. “So what do you wanna do besides talk about how crazy I am?”

'Do you have a dad, if you don't mind me asking?'

Eli shrugged. “I’ll only answer that if you answer why your parents left.” He offered.

“Fair enough.” Eli said. “I do have a dad, but he left about 3 years ago. Haven’t seen him since. Last time I heard any mention of him, he was living it up in San Diego.”
