Elise nodded, trying to smile reassuringly. “I swear I won’t go looking for trouble. Or let it find me, for that matter.” She took a few steps away, turning to wave at Orion as she walked away toward her own room. “I expect you to stay save as well!”
Elise turned a corner and stepped into her room, closing the door and taking a deep breath. She took a bag from her closet and started packing things she would need in an emergency—she was panicking because of the Scarlet Eyes and this made her feel a slight bit better.
Orion sat on the giant bed, taking out a small pin and staring at it. his brother had given it to him just a week before the ambush. he laid down on the bed and closed his eyes as a tear slipped from between his eyelids.
They were close. very close. the Nature Empire's castle was within sight. both 'Elementals' in one place. easy to kill. One person, a mask with a giant red eye covering their face and a cloak hood covering their hair, stepped forward. "General, what should we do when we get there?" they asked, their voice small from fear of the fake Elementals. "we capture the weak one. He will be easier to catch." The general said, hands behind his back as all the other Eyes set up camp. "yes sir." he ran away quickly. "his brother was easy to catch as well."
