Elise couldn’t help but think of Queen Atalanta’s comment about Orion’s brother. She’s lost someone, too, years ago. A friend, but at the same time so much more. The person she would laugh with, sing with… go to the garden with.

Orion changed quickly, getting into bed and shutting his eyes, as if to block out the onslaught of memories from coming back. he gulped, took a deep breath, and opened his eyes again. he reached for his sketchbook that he had taken out of his bag, flipping through the pages until he came to the one he was looking for. time worn, the page was yellow and curled at the corners when the sketchbook was open. it was a flower, his brother had drawn it for him.
