With a breath, Adrian ended the kiss and leaned their foreheads together. "I'm glad you liked the surprise," he whispered so that only she could hear

“It’s one of the best surprises I’ve had, but there’s one in particular that’s the best.” She said quietly.

"Which is?" Adrian asked with a smile that was on the verge of developing into a smirk.

“Meeting you.” She said with a smile as she leaned in for another kiss.

Adrian gave a low chuckle. "I can't say you took it very well," he said. "You didn't even care about your shoes."

“A lot happened in those few minutes, the shoes were the least of my problems.” She said.

"Yeah, not like you're going to get hypothermia or anything," Adrian said.

“True, I was lucky I didn’t get frostbite either.” She said, shuddering at the thought.

Adrian hugged her, the warmth of his body spreading to hers. "I'll battle the evil cold with you," he said.

Jewel closed her eyes and put her head on his chest.

Adrian softly stroked her hair. "I love you," he whispered.

“I love you more.” She said, enjoying every second of the moment.

"I doubt that," Adrina smiled

Jewel nudged Adrian with her elbow. “No, I do love you more.” She protested.

Adrian just smiled and sat down on a nearby bench. He motioned for Jewel to sit too. "What do you do in your free time for fun?" he asked.
