Winifred squeaked a little in thanks, pulling the bowl closer with one tiny paw before starting to eat the soup

Dock smiled. "So you like chicken noodle soup, huh? I'll get you some more if you want."
He poured himself a bowl and began to eat. -
Winifred finished her soup and started trying to lick her fur dry

"You like the soup, huh?" Dock said. "What should I call you, anyway?"

Winifred paused for moment, her ears perking up as she looked at him "Winifred" She said using telepathy, tilting her head a little

Dock jumped, alarmed as the name 'Winifred' swam in his mind, unprompted by himself. "Did you just...?"

Winifred chirped and hopped in place, seeming happy

"Okay then," Dock said, his voice an octave higher than it had been. "Winifred it is."

Winifred seemed happy at that, her ears twitching

Dock gave Winifred a gentle boop. "But how come you're in my house?"

Winifred sneezed and pawed at her lil nose "cold wet"

"I agree," Dock said, getting a towel. He began to dab at the lil creature in front of him, the fluffy towel soaking up the moisture.

Winifred chirped and grabbed onti the towel with her paws, squeaking as she rubbed her head against it
