Harper folded her wings around herself in a feathery hug.

Victor remembered the temperature change most of all

"Victor, I can't sleep," she said after a moment or two. "It feels weird."

"what do you expect me to do about it!" Victor shouted annoyed.

"I dunno," Harper said, turning over. "What do you do when you can't sleep?"

"drink more chocolate." Victor said like it was the obvious solution

"'Kay," Harper said, rolling onto the floor in a search for chocolate.

Victor didn't realize it could be a bad idea before falling asleep

Harper creeped around his house like a cat, her wings folded behind her back.

Victor also remembered the southern exclusive chocolate he enjoyed

Harper popped up at the side of his bed. "I can't find it."

"gah! How'd you get in here!" Victor yelled jumping up like a cat.

"I went through the window," Harper said brightly.

"please don't tell me you broke my widow, there's snow tomorrow." Victor whined

"I didn't break it...I think," Harper said. "Wait, snow? Wassat?"
